NFL Divisional Round Betting Primer

Let's get serious for a moment...

Entering the divisional round, you're likely in one of these two situations:

1. You've been humiliating bookies all season, and hopefully, you've put a few out of business and destroyed their lives by now.

2. The bookies have been humiliating you all season, forcing you to cut down on buying brand-name foods, instead opting for the lame grocery store brand. They tell us it's the same, but let's not kid ourselves.

If you've been following along on OddsShark.com all season, it's unlikely that you're in situation #2, but if you are, it's not too late to turn it around. Instead of going with that gut of yours, use the numbers below to help with your picks.

There's also some key historical trends from recent divisional round games to keep in mind. In the last three years, the visiting team is 7-3-2 ATS. Going back a bit further, the favored team has gone 14-2 SU over the last four years.

So, let's get after it, put a few more bookies out of business and get back to buying those brand-name cereals, french fries and frozen desserts. If possible, always pay for the label and KEEP CHASING THAT PAPER!
