NFL Odds: Home Teams Rolling
Including a 5-2 ATS performance by home chalk last week, the hosts are 35-25-3 against the spread through four weeks. Home favorites are 23-16-3 against the spread, with home dogs covering in 12 of 21 games. Home teams have won 65 percent of the games straight-up.
On the season, favorites are 32-28-3. There have been 32 OVERs and 31 UNDERs.
The Seattle Seahawks covered the spread in their sixth straight game with Sunday’s come-from-behind overtime win over the Houston Texans. The Seahawks have covered the spread in 23 of their last 30 games, one of the most impressive ATS streaks in a long time.
The Seahawks are the only team to have covered the spread in all four games this season. The Tennessee Titans and San Diego Chargers are each 3-0-1 against the spread, with the push coming against each other in a Week 3 meeting.
The Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, and Jacksonville Jaguars are the only teams yet to cover the spread. The Jaguars have failed to cover the spread in five straight and eight of their last nine games. The Texans also have failed to cover the spread in five straight games.
Odds & Ends
The NFC North could use some defense. All 11 of the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings games have gone OVER the total. The Denver Broncos are the only other team to have eclipsed the total in each of their games.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs are the only teams that have stayed UNDER the total in each of their games.
