The NFL betting lines for Week 8 of the season haven't moved all that much this week, but we're getting one of the biggest spreads of the year on Sunday afternoon as the Green Bay Packers play host to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is out for this week with a foot injury, while Jacksonville quarterback Blaine Gabbert is expected to be playing despite an injury to his non-throwing shoulder. With those two players banged up the Jaguars sit as 16.5-point road underdogs at Sportsbook against the Packers.
Jacksonville has won just one of its six games so far this season, with a record of 3-3 against the spread. The Packers are 4-3 SU and 3-4 ATS on the season. The teams haven't met since 2008, when Jacksonville won 20-16 as a 3-point home underdog.
The two biggest line moves so far this week have been only 1.5 points, with the Lions going from 2.5-point to 1-point favorites at home against the Seahawks, and the Jets going from 2.5-point to 1-point favorites at home against the Dolphins.
As well, the Chiefs opened as a 1-point home favorite at Sportsbook against the Raiders but that game has moved to a pick'em on the NFL betting lines. The Giants/Cowboys matchup in Dallas opened as a pick'em, but New York is now a 1-point road favorite in that contest.
