NFL Picks: Divisional Playoff Predictions
The computer’s Wild Card weekend picks were 100% bang on and 75% off the mark at the same time.
The Odds Shark scores prediction formula predicted that all four favorites would win last weekend and all four did. The problem was that the computer picked only the Seattle Seahawks to cover the spread, because all four faves covered.
It picked all four games to go OVER the total and all four games slipped UNDER the total.

Did the computer learn from this humbling ATS experience? Apparently not. We ran the numbers Tuesday and it is picking underdogs to cover the spread in all four games on Divisional playoff weekend.
Again, it is picking Seattle as the lone road team to win, 32-29 at Atlanta. The Seahawks won at Washington last week, have won and covered three straight on the road and are chalk killers as underdogs (15-3-1 ATS past 19 games in this role).
Denver is picked to win 36-27, but that would fall just shy of covering 9.5 points on the opening spread at Bovada. The Broncos have been terrific ATS at home and as a favorite.
San Francisco will edge Green Bay 30-29, allowing the Packers to cover the 3-point spread and continue their ATS dominance over the 49ers (currently 6-0-1 ATS past seven trips to the Bay).
And New England will beat Houston 40-31, again barely failing to cover the 9.5-point spread. The Texans would improve to 4-0 ATS in playoff games and 6-0 ATS in January games if they cover this spread. They have also been tough as underdogs, but got hammered by these Patriots a few weeks back.
