NFL Week 12 Power Rankings

It wasn't exactly the most powerful performance, but a little luck and a little Eli Manning fumble was enough to push Philadelphia to the top of the Week 12 NFL Power Rankings here at OddsShark.com.

1. Philadelphia (2) – Last week in their win over the Giants the Eagles posted their first UNDER since Week 4, breaking a streak of five straight OVER results.

2. NY Giants (1) - Are the Giants quickly coming back down to Earth after losing two in a row SU and ATS? Losing Hakeem Nicks for three weeks really hurts right now.

3. San Diego (3) – The Chargers have won and covered the spread in three straight. How good will they be when Antonio Gates and Vincent Jackson return?

4. New Orleans (5) – The Saints take on the Cowboys on Thanksgiving and they're 6-1 ATS in their last seven versus Dallas.

5. Atlanta (6) – At 8-2 the Falcons have the best record in the NFC, and they're 6-4 ATS.

6. NY Jets (4)  -  The Jets get an early start to the week on Thanksgiving versus the Bengals, who they are 8-1 SU against in their last nine.

7. Pittsburgh (11) – Since starting the season 3-0 ATS the Steelers are only 3-4 ATS in their last seven games.

8. Baltimore (8) –  The Ravens have a seven-game home winning streak going with Tampa Bay visiting this week, but they're only 4-3 ATS.

9. Green Bay (9) –  The Packers have won four straight both SU and ATS but are in tough this weekend at Atlanta.

10. Indianapolis (10) – The Colts are 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS in their last seven at home, where they'll face San Diego this weekend.

11. Oakland (7) – After scoring 115 points in three straight wins the Raiders' offense was quickly silenced in a 35-3 loss to Pittsburgh.

12. Chicago (15) –  After last week's shutout of Miami the Bears are tied with Green Bay for the top scoring defense in the league. They'll get to prove how good they are this week against the Eagles.

13. Kansas City (12) – The Chiefs are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS at home this season, compared to
1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS on the road. Remember that when they visit Seattle this weekend.

14. Tampa Bay (19) –  The Buccaneers continue to surprise with a 7-3 record, which includes going 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS on the road.

15. Miami (14) –  After last week's loss the Dolphins haven't posted back-to-back wins this season since starting off 2-0.

16. Minnesota (13) – Brad Childress finally got the ax in Minnesota. Does that mean they will snap their five-game ATS losing streak this week versus Washington?

17. Detroit (20) – The Lions have dropped their last two games ATS after having their five-game  ATS winning streak snapped.

18. St. Louis (16) – The Rams had their four-game ATS winning streak snapped last week by the Falcons.

19. Cincinnati (18) – The Bengals have lost seven in a row while going 1-6 ATS heading into their Thanksgiving showdown with the Jets.

20. Tennessee (17) –  Vince Young could be done in Tennessee, and so could the Titans after dropping three straight SU and ATS.

21. New England (23) – The Patriots visit Detroit on Thanksgiving where they'll try to improve their 3-2 SU and ATS road records.

22. Cleveland (24) – The Browns have posted five straights OVER results, and the totals have gone OVER in seven of their last eight games.

23. Houston (22) – The Texans lost their fourth straight last week, but at least they snapped their five-game ATS losing streak.

24. Dallas (27) –  The Cowboys have outscored their opponents 68-39 in back-to-back wins, and that's with Jon Kitna at quarterback.

25. Jacksonville (26) –  Believe it or not the Jaguars are tied for first place in the AFC South after three straight wins.

26. Denver (25) – The Broncos are 1-5 both SU and ATS in their last six games.

27. Washington (29) – Strangely the five teams the Redskins have beaten this season are a combined 29-21, while the five teams the Redskins have lost to are a combined 23-27.

28. San Francisco (21) – Last week's 21-0 loss to Tampa Bay somehow hasn't ended Troy Smith's ride as the 49ers' starting quarterback.

29. Buffalo (28) – Not only have the Bills won two in a row they've also won four straight ATS.

30. Seattle (30) – The real Seahawks may finally be showing themselves after going 1-3 SU and ATS in their last four games.

31. Carolina (31) – With a 2-8 record the Panthers have the worst ATS mark in the entire league.

32. Arizona (32) – Will a home game against the 49ers bring an end to the Cardinals' five-game losing streak?

Power rankings are calculated using a special algorithm that includes a combination of offensive stats, defensive stats, and strength of schedule. By the numbers . . .
