NFL Week 13 Betting Trends Analysis

Talk about a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde team. That's what San Francisco has been this season with its home/road splits.

The 49ers are 3-3 at Levi's Stadium holding opponents to 15.8 points per game there. They would rank No. 1 in scoring defense if that figure took into account all of their games.

Unfortunately the 49ers have played five away contests. In those games, they are giving up an average of 35.2 points a game, which would rank last in the league if just those games counted.

San Francisco has surrendered at least 27 points in every one of its road games. The 49ers are 0-5 on the road, 1-4 against the spread (ATS), with an average road losing margin of 21 points.

Going back to last season, San Francisco is 0-7 away, 1-6 ATS. The 49ers are seven-point road underdogs to Chicago. But before automatically loving the Bears in this matchup, consider they have lost seven of their past eight home games. Chicago also is 1-8 and 2-7 ATS in their last nine December games at Solider Field.

Falcons Winless ATS in Past Seven Games

Anyone still enamored with Atlanta's first-year head coach, Dan Quinn? Didn't think so. The Falcons are 0-7 ATS in their last seven games. They'll try to end that streak getting two points at Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers are close to turning the corner, but need to prove themselves at home where they are 2-12 and 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games at Raymond James Stadium.

Non-division foes can sometimes struggle against San Diego's offense. But AFC West Division teams know the Chargers well. San Diego has failed to cover in its last eight division games. The Chargers are four-point home underdogs to Denver.

St. Louis is last in the league in passing. The Rams also have gone under in six of their past seven games. They are hosting Arizona with a 43 total.

Green Bay led the NFL in scoring last season averaging 30.4 points a game. This season, the Packers rank 12th averaging 23.8 points. The under has cashed in seven of their last eight games. Green Bay is at Detroit for the Thursday night game. The total is 47.
