NFL Week 13 Odds Preview
Riding a four-game winning streak, the Chargers look to avoid another upset at the hands of the Raiders when the AFC West rivals meet in Week 13 of the NFL season.
San Diego and Oakland clashed back in Week 5 when the Raiders shocked the Chargers in a 35-27 win as a 7-point home underdog. San Diego practically handed the Raiders the game due to their mistakes - which included two blocked punts, one for a safety and one for a touchdown and a fumble that Oakland returned for six.
The Chargers head into this weekend's rematch as a 13-point favorite on the latest NFL odds over at Bovada. Last week San Diego won their fourth game in a row after upsetting Indianapolis 36-14 as a 3-point underdog. The Chargers' high-powered offense took a backseat to their defense in the win, as they picked off four passes and returned two of them for touchdowns.

Oakland has lost two in a row after getting hammered by Miami 33-17 as a 3-point favorite last week. Bruce Gradkowski passed for 252 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions and also saw his season come to an end thanks to a separated shoulder. Jason Campbell will reclaim the starting QB job this week. The only real bright spot for Oakland last week was Jacoby Ford, who caught four passes for 108 yards and a TD and also returned a kickoff 101 yards for a score.
Before the Raiders shocked the Chargers in Week 5 San Diego had won 13 straight against Oakland with a 10-3 record ATS on the NFL odds. San Diego has won seven in a row at home versus Oakland and so far this season they are 4-1 both SU and ATS at Qualcomm Stadium.
Divisional matchups are all over the Week 13 schedule, and two of the more interesting ones this weekend are Pittsburgh at Baltimore and Atlanta at Tampa Bay.
The Steelers and Ravens met up in Pittsburgh back in Week 4. The Steelers were without Ben Roethlisberger in that game as he finished up his four-game suspension, and Baltimore defeated Pittsburgh 17-14 as a 2-point underdog.
Big Ben should be behind center for Pittsburgh this weekend, but he won't be 100%. Roethlisberger is dealing with a right foot injury that has cut into his practice time and forced him into a walking boot. That could reduce his already-limited mobility against a tough Ravens defense.
The Ravens are 5-0 SU at home this season and are a 3-point home favorite this weekend. Pittsburgh is 4-2 SU in their last six versus the Ravens, but Baltimore has owned this matchup at home with a 6-1 record SU and a 4-3 record ATS in their last seven versus the Steelers at home. The Ravens are listed as a 3-point favorite on the NFL odds at Bovada.
The Falcons are on a five-game winning streak and own the best record in the NFC heading into their matchup with Tampa Bay this weekend. Atlanta added Green Bay to their list of victims last week with a 20-17 win as 2-point favorites. After covering the spread the Falcons improved to 4-1 ATS on NFL betting during their winning streak.
The Buccaneers lost to Baltimore 17-10 last week, but beat the 7.5-point spread and have a five-game ATS winning streak going. Tampa Bay traveled to Atlanta back in Week 9 and suffered a 27-21 loss, but again beat the 10-point spread.
In that Week 9 matchup Michael Turner rushed for 107 yards with two touchdowns for Atlanta, while Bucs QB Josh Freeman had two TD passes and a pair of interceptions. That game wasn't as close as the score makes it seem, as Tampa Bay got within six points with less than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter on a late kickoff return for a TD.
Including the Week 9 win Atlanta has won four straight versus the Bucs with a 1-3 record ATS on NFL betting. The Bucs own a shiny 8-3 ATS record so far this season, but all three of their ATS losses have come at home. Tampa Bay is a 3-point home underdog at Bovada.
