NFL Week 3 Betting Primer

You have a choice this weekend — you can do everything in your power to beat the bookie, or you can let that greaseball beat you. I’ve chosen to do everything in my power to put that chump out of business and I’m using all the trends and stats below as my foundation for doing so.

Be careful, though, as being overly reliant on trends when making betting decisions is a chump move. You should also be closely monitoring injury reports, tracking line movement, and trying to determine which teams have the edge in certain areas of the game and how that will impact the outcome.

When analyzing trends, try to figure out what’s tangible and what’s just a coincidence. Trends like the Seahawks being 3-15 ATS in their last 18 September road games would lead me to believe they’re very slow starters who don’t play up to their potential, and it just so has it that that’s been the case this season. So before handing that hard-earned cash off to some slimeball who’ll probably use it to support his chewing tobacco addiction, put some critical thinking into your picks, then you can use your winnings toward your own unhealthy habits!

Keep chasing that paper!
