NFL Week 7 Betting Primer

It certainly has been the year of the dog, hasn’t it? No, I’m not talking about that dirt-dog bookie. The only thing he’s achieved this season is cut back from three packs of cigarettes a day to two and three-quarters. And that’s just because we’ve been robbing that chump blind to the point that he can no longer afford to support his disgusting habit to the degree that he’d like to.

Of course, I’m talking about NFL underdogs who are covering spreads at a 58.6 percent clip. This is significant because they only covered at 49.5 percent last season, which is typical as the year-end numbers usually wind up at close to 50 percent. What this means is that we should expect to see that 58.6 percent mark start to come down in the coming weeks, so if there are some favorites you like this week, don’t be afraid to pull the trigger.

Enjoy the Week 7 action, and as always, KEEP CHASING THAT PAPER!
