NFL Week 7 Odds Shark Computer Picks - 2016 Season

In what has the potential to be a preview of the AFC Championship Game, the Patriots head to Heinz Field to take on the Big Ben-less Steelers in Week 7 action and the OddsShark Super Computer thinks Tom Brady and Bill Belichick roll to a 28.2-18.2 victory over the Steelers.

Pittsburgh will be going with Landry Jones under center and that prospect should be racking the nerves of bettors and fans alike. The 27-year-old quarterback who was drafted 115th overall in the 2013 NFL draft has thrown just 55 passes in the pros and has a 1-1 record in his two lone starts.

New England has been unstoppable since Brady returned, outscoring opponents 68-30 in the two games No. 12 has been calling the signals. The last time Handsome Tom and the Pats faced the Steelers, they came away with a 28-21 win at Gillette Stadium, with Brady throwing for 288 yards and four touchdowns on 25-of-32 passing.

Home Teams to Roll

The computer has been hot on home teams the last few weeks and Week 7 is no exception as it’s predicting that 13 of the 15 teams playing in friendly territory get it done both straight up and against the spread. The year-to-date stats tend to agree with this prediction somewhat as home teams have gone 47-41-4 against the spread for the season so far.

Of these teams playing at home, the Tennessee Titans are expected to blow their visitors out by the most as the computer is projecting a 34-13.5 win for them against the Indianapolis Colts. The Titans are small favorites and barely beat the Browns on their home turf last week so a 20-point win over Indy seems unlikely – I wouldn’t be teasing this one.

Can the Brown and Purple continue their trends?

Cleveland came storming back against the Titans in Week 6 only to end up losing by two points and fell to an abysmal 0-6. The Browns are the only team remaining that has yet to get a notch in the good column and you probably won’t be surprised to find out that the computer likes them to chalk up another L this week with a predicted 33.2-14.6 loss to the division rival Bengals.

The Vikings are the only team left still undefeated and should be nice and rested after their Week 6 bye but the computer says not so fast. Minnesota is a small favorite but is being projected to actually lose straight up to the hosting Eagles. If you disagree and want to put a sprinkle on the Vikes to go 16-0, check out this link.
