Coyotes, Oilers on NHL Odds
The oddsmakers aren't giving the Edmonton Oilers much of a chance on Tuesday night for their game on the road against the streaking Phoenix Coyotes at Jobing.com Arena.
Sportsbook.ag has Edmonton at +175 to notch rare back-to-back road victories against the streaking -215 favorite Coyotes.
To add misery to the Oilers' road woes, they have dropped four straight to Phoenix – although three of those losses were by one goal.
Edmonton blew a three-goal lead against Phoenix in a 4-3 shootout loss on Friday, but came away with a 4-2 win at Anaheim on Sunday. The Coyotes concluded a road trip with a third consecutive win when they beat Vancouver 3-2 last time out.
The Oilers give up the most goals per game in the league at just over four, and the Coyotes surrender three per game. Three of the past four games between the two have gone OVER - and with the total at 6 for this game, making a play on the OVER could be a safe wager.
