Hartley next NHL coach fired odds
Coach firing odds usually take a few weeks or months to claim their victim, but the Philadelphia Flyers made sure those bets were settled early.
Peter Laviolette, who had been the favorite to be the first NHL coach fired, got the axe after only three games. He was replaced by assistant coach and former Flyer enforcer Craig Berube.
Now Bob Hartley of the Calgary Flames has been installed by online sportsbook Bovada to be the next coach fired.
Calgary has been decent early, but their team is terrible on paper. Oddsmakers seem to feel it is just a matter of time before they head south and Hartley loses his job. He is a +200 bet (2/1 odds).
