NHL Betting: Pens vs. Canadiens
With Sidney Crosby back on the ice, the Pittsburgh Penguins will play in Montreal against the Canadiens in NHL betting action on Saturday night.
The Penguins slipped past Montreal 3-1 earlier this season, and the Habs were crushed 5-2 by Pittsburgh the last time these two teams met at the Bell Centre. With Crosby back, along with a healthy roster, the Pens will surely draw the majority of attention on the NHL betting lines at 5Dimes.
Two of the top three penalty-killing teams face each other in this game, and it might make for a low-scoring affair. These teams have made winners of UNDER bettors in four of their last five head-to-head.
NHL betting action on Saturday also sees the New York Rangers trying to gain a couple of points on Philadelphia, who sit right ahead of them in the Atlantic Division standings. The Rangers have won back-to-back games against the Flyers, including a 7-0 rout at Madison Square Garden the last time they played there.
The Flyers are no strangers to getting victories in the Big Apple, having won two of three there just last season. Philly will certainly garner its share of the wagers on the NHL betting lines at 5Dimes in this matchup. Seven of the past 10 games between these teams have sent UNDER bettors to the payout window in totals betting.
Minnesota led the NHL with 29 points heading into Friday night’s betting action, and the Wild will try to stay at or near the top when they face off against the lowly Calgary Flames on the NHL betting lines as part of a light schedule on Sunday.
The Wild have already shut out the Flames 3-0 this season in Calgary. Minnesota has won four straight overall head-to-head and they will see the lion’s share of attention on the NHL betting lines at 5Dimes.
