Penguins try to avoid sweep in Boston

The Boston Bruins hold a 3-0 lead on the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL's Eastern Conference final as the two teams meet in Game 4 of the best-of-seven series on Friday night at TD Garden.

The Bruins are coming off a 2-1 victory in double overtime over the Penguins as -112 home favorites in Game 3 of the set on Wednesday night. Patrice Bergeron had the Sportsbook for the Bruins in that win, while Tuukka Rask stopped 53 of 54 Penguins shots.

Pittsburgh had won six straight games in Boston before that Game 3 defeat. Now they face a daunting task of winning four straight. But the Bruins were victimized a few years back in the playoffs after leading a series 3-0.

The Bruins bring a 28-14-6 record to the battle against the 36-12 Penguins. OVER/UNDER bettors have seen Boston go 16-28-4 so far and the Penguins go 23-24-1.
