NHL Weekend Betting Odds
The Bruins are on a roll, and at +125 against a Washington team they seem to own it might be the best upset bet of the night on Friday with the Caps favorites at -145.
Boston swept Washington in a home-and-home series earlier this year with Tim Thomas making 31 and 38 saves, respectively. Even with the Washington firepower, it might be worth a look at the UNDER.
Montreal will try and end their two-game losing skid on Friday against a Buffalo team just looking for a win. The Sabres will be looking to avenge an earlier loss at home to Montreal. Buffalo could be without Vezina-winning goalie Ryan Miller, and injuries to other key members of the team have hurt them thus far.
Other action has Minnesota paying -125 against the Calgary Flames (+105), and Pittsburgh (-130) favored over Anaheim (+110). As well, Detroit will be a huge favorite at -155 when they meet the (+135) Oilers in Edmonton, Florida (-125) is favored to beat the (+105) underdog Hurricanes, Dallas will be (-155) favorites over a Phoenix team that should pay more than +135 for the upset, and the Rangers will be on the road in New Jersey.

The flying Red Wings will have to be up to the test Saturday as they take on the Canucks, winners of five straight. Vancouver has not lost in regulation at home this season, while Detroit has lost just once on the road. Detroit will likely come in as the underdog in this one.
St. Louis is in Boston, while Florida visits the Hurricanes in Carolina in the second game of a two-game set. Defending champion Chicago plays Atlanta, reeling Buffalo is in Toronto, Philly faces off against the Islanders in New York, Minnesota is at Columbus, struggling Ottawa travels to take on the Canadiens in Montreal, while the road-savvy Stars play Colorado in the Mile High City.
Also on Saturday, the Penguins will try and get things going as they visit Phoenix, Nashville plays Los Angeles, and Tampa Bay visits the Sharks in San Jose.
On Sunday Philadelphia will be road underdogs when they play Washington – who have lost just once at home this season. Edmonton exploded for seven goals as they defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 7-4 in the Windy City last month. This could be another night for OVER bettors to cash out. Nashville takes on Anaheim, while St. Louis and the Rangers round out the Sunday schedule.
