Montreal already dispatched the number one seed Capitals in the first round and tonight they are home where they look to take a 2-1 lead in the series against the defending Stanley Cup champion Penguins.

Montreal G Jaroslav Halak has been great in the playoffs and he made 38 saves in the Game 2 win. He ranks second in the playoffs with a solid save percentage of 93.1%.
Penguins’ superstar Sidney Crosby has the most points in the playoffs (16) and he will be counted on for some offense tonight. Crosby did not have a single point in Game 2.

The Penguins have won their last four road games and that includes winning all three games against Ottawa in their opening round series.
The Canadiens are only 1-2 at home in the playoffs this season and are only 2-5 in their last seven home games.

The Sharks lead this Western Conference semifinals series 2-0 after winning both games in San Jose.
