Senators vs. Bruins Odds
The Senators and Bruins both victimized bettors the last time they took to the ice; one of them will make amends on Saturday night when the clubs do battle in Boston.
Ottawa had been playing its best hockey of the season – scoring 15 goals over an impressive four-game winning streak – before falling to Vancouver 6-2 at home on Thursday night. This will be the second meeting of the year between the two teams, with the Bruins shutting out the Senators 4-0 back on October 30.
The Sens took both games in Boston last season, but will be road underdogs at Bovada in this one.
The Bruins are deep in net with Tim Thomas and Tuukka Rask manning the crease; watch for Thomas to get the start on Saturday against a team he has dominated in the past. UNDER bettors could be tempted with this game as Boston goalies have a mesmerizing 1.84 GAA.
Brian Elliott posted a 1.75 GAA over the Senators' recent win streak, but Pascal Leclaire was tagged with the loss against the Canucks on Thursday.
Ottawa center Jason Spezza has been on fire since his return from injury, and he's helped the enigmatic Alex Kovalev come alive somewhat. If that duo can find its groove in Boston on Saturday it could be an upset in the making.
