Weekend NHL Betting: Hawks back on ice
Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks will return to the ice on Friday night as they take on the San Jose Sharks to highlight the weekend NHL betting slate.
And the Hawks paid off against the Sharks at the sportsbooks just one week ago.
Last Friday the Blackhawks rolled to a 4-1 home win over the Sharks as a -135 favorite at online sportsbooks like 5Dimes. Dave Bolland, Marcus Kruger, Andrew Shaw, and Niklas Hjalmarsson had the goals for Chicago that day, while Ray Emery stopped 27 of 28 San Jose shots.

Overall Chicago is 4-1 over its past five games against San Jose, with the OVER/UNDER going 6-4 in their past 10 meetings. The Blackhawks are 8-0 over their past eight games against the Blue Jackets, who they host on Sunday.
The Hawks topped the Blue Jackets 3-2 as a road favorite back on January 26.
The Sharks are also on the road on Saturday night this week as they take on the Stars in Dallas. The Sharks and Stars will be meeting for the first time this season, with San Jose 8-2 over their past 10 matchups. The OVER paid out in seven of those games.
There are also four matinees on the schedule for Saturday, with New Jersey at Washington, Winnipeg at Philadelphia, Phoenix at Edmonton, and Colorado at Los Angeles. The Avalanche got past the Kings 3-1 at +105 on the NHL betting lines at 5Dimes on January 22; they've won five in a row against Los Angeles.
Colorado then closes out the week on Sunday night as they face the Ducks in Anaheim. The Ducks blanked the Avalanche 3-0 as a road underdog on the NHL betting lines at the sportsbooks on February 6, with Viktor Fasth making 31 saves for the shutout.
