College Football Week 12 Expert Picks

The Clemson Tigers are 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games played in the month of November. The Tigers are a big chalk favorite this Saturday hosting the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Ohio State vs Michigan State Odds

Michigan State Football

Rivals get ready to clash when Michigan State visits undefeated Ohio State this weekend for Big Ten East supremacy. If there has been one constant in the rivalry, it’s that the road team is covering with the travelling team going 6-1 ATS in their last seven meetings.

There is some uncertainty for the Spartans heading into the game, with quarterback Connor Cook wearing a headset on the sideline for the second half of last week’s 24-7 win over Maryland. Coach Mark Dantonio said that Cook is fine, but how the senior practices this week will be important.

Ohio State won their 23rd consecutive game last week with a grinding 28-3 domination of Illinois. Running back Ezekiel Elliott put up another big performance last week with 181 yards and two touchdowns, extending his streak of 100-plus rushing yard games to 15 games.

Wake Forest has Been Awful vs Clemson

Wake Forest Football

No.1 Clemson hosts the bottom of the ACC, Wake Forest, this Saturday with a history of road teams struggling in the series. The travelling team is just 3-7 ATS in the past 10 games between Clemson and Wake Forest.

It’s hard for Clemson backers to contain their optimism right now, with only two 3-7 teams in their way from finishing the regular season undefeated. The Tigers don’t always win pretty, but they rank in the top third in the nation in points for, points against, passing yards and rushing yards.

Wake Forest enters the game on a four-game losing streak, with the Demon Deacons getting pummelled 28-7 against Notre Dame their last time out. On a positive note for Wake Forest, they actually ended the game against Notre Dame with more yards, first downs and time of possession.

Baylor, Oklahoma State Has Huge Total

Baylor and Oklahoma State are set to clash in one of the most important football games of the Big 12 season in Stillwater on Saturday. With two high-octane offenses taking the field, the total has been set at a ridiculous 78.0, which ties it for the sixth highest total this year.

So far this season, there have been 19 games close with a total of 75.0 or higher with the OVER going 13-6 in those contests. Those 19 games have seen the teams combine for an average of 86.2 points per game and on six occasions score 100-plus points.

Nover: How to Beat NFL Thursday Games

Seahawks are Red-Hot ATS vs 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks are no strangers to one another, but the teams that are set to face off in Week 11 appear to be shells of their former selves compared to what we’ve seen over the last few years. To say Seattle has had the upper hand at the betting window in this series would be a massive understatement, however. The Seahawks are a red-hot 9-0 ATS in their last nine against the Niners.

The 49ers are 0-6 SU and 1-5 ATS in their last six games on the road.

The Seahawks are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games in Week 11.

The total has gone OVER in five of the Seahawks' last seven games at home.

San Fran has struggled mightily this season in light of an offseason exodus of players that included the departure of their former head coach, Jim Harbaugh. The 49ers (3-6 SU, 4-5 ATS) are just 1-4 ATS at home but have covered the spread in three out of their four road tilts this year.

Seattle (4-5 SU, 2-6-1 ATS) has been far from a sure thing, too. The Seahawks, fresh off a crushing last-minute loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX, have struggled to get anything going this season and must pick up their socks soon or the playoffs may not be a possibility for Pete Carroll’s squad this year.

Cowboys Total Wins & Tony Romo Props

Tony Romo Dez Bryant Dallas Cowboys

This season could very well go down as a lost season for the Dallas Cowboys. The team entered the season with high expectations thanks to winning the NFC East last season and had it not been for a questionable no-catch ruling against Green Bay in the playoffs, they would have been in the NFC Championship Game. Any aspirations of a deep playoff run this season were quickly dashed thanks to a rash of injuries that affected key players on both sides of the ball.

Vikings Seeking Ninth Straight Cover

Adrian Peterson Vikings

The Green Bay Packers have been the kings of the NFC North for the better part of the last decade, but a new player has emerged in 2015: the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings (7-2 SU) have looked great this season and have particularly been strong for bettors, posting an 8-1 record ATS including an eight-game streak where they have covered the spread.

Shark Bites

The Vikings are 0-4 SU and ATS in their last four games in Week 11.

The Packers are 0-4 ATS in their last four games.

The total has gone UNDER in five of the Packers' last six games.

It seems as if no one can figure out what is going on in Green Bay right now. The Packers fell to the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers—two teams who were undefeated at the time, before returning to Wisconsin to face the lowly Lions. But the Packers (who closed as healthy 10.5-point favorites) laid an egg, falling to Detroit 18-16—the first time the Lions have topped the Packers at Lambeau Field since 1991.

Home field advantage has been crucial in recent contests between the NFC North rivals. Home sides are 7-2 SU in the last nine meetings between the clubs.
