Oregon vs Oklahoma State betting preview

Oklahoma State gets a very tough first-round assignment as the No. 5 seeded Cowboys face Oregon on Thursday.

The Cowboys were 24-8 on the year and lost in the Big 12 tournament semifinals. But they beat Kansas, Kansas State and NC State among their Top 25 wins.

Oregon meanwhile is a tough 12 seed led by E.J. Singler (forward) and Arsalan Kazemi (forward). They were 26-8 and an upset winner of the Pac 12 tournament.

The Cowboys are 17-2 SU past 19 games as favorite while the Ducks have played 7 straight UNDERs when an underdog.

Oklahoma State battles the Ducks, currently sitting with a 26-8 mark (13-17-2 ATS). The OVER/UNDER records, always important for totals bettors, are 14-16 for the Cowboys and 12-16 for the Ducks.


First Four Odds: La Salle vs. Boise State

The final game of this year’s NCAA Tournament First Four in Dayton is a battle between two of the last at-large schools to make it into the Field of 68.

The La Salle Explorers, from the Atlantic 10, will face the Mountain West’s Boise State Broncos in the late game on Wednesday night.

The winner of this matchup advances as the No. 13 seed in the West Region to play No. 4 Kansas State. Both teams come into this matchup with impressive resumes on the court, but the Broncos clearly have the hot hand vs. the college basketball betting lines with a 9-2 ATS record in their last 11 games.

First Four Odds: James Madison vs. LIU

The first of two First Four NCAA Tournament games on Wednesday night’s slate pits the Colonial League Tournament champion James Madison Dukes against the Long Island Blackbirds, who earned their bid by winning the Northeast Conference Tournament.

The winner of this matchup will advance as the No. 16 seed in the East Region to play No. 1 seed Indiana. The Dukes went 20-14 SU this season and a profitable 21-10 ATS as a result of an 8-2 ATS record in their last 10 games. Long Island comes in at 20-13 SU and 4-0 ATS; the total went OVER in all four of those games.

NCAA Tournament: Butler vs. Bucknell

No. 6 Butler faces No. 11 Bucknell in NCAA Tournament odds action on Thursday, and they've been a great wager at the Big Dance both on the betting lines and for those that side with the UNDER in recent years.

The Bulldogs are 9-1 ATS over their past 10 tournament games as they've enjoyed success at the event, with the UNDER going 8-2-1 in the school's last 11 games in March Madness. Bucknell enters the tourney on a roll, picking up a win in 15 of its past 17 games.

The Bulldogs currently sports a 26-8 record overall in NCAAB action, and have posted a corresponding betting slate of 19-13 ATS. The Bison are 28-5 and 2-4 ATS. Betting totals have seen the Bulldogs produce a 17-14 OVER/UNDER record on the season, while the Bison have gone 2-4 against the number.


Duke vs Albany Midwest Betting Preview

Duke was a huge favorite as a No. 2 seed last season and it didn't work out very well for them.

Can the Albany Great Danes pull off another upset as a 15 seed when they tangle with the Blue Devils in Midwest Region action?

Duke lost to Lehigh last season in this position, but Albany poses less of a threat. The America East conference champs have a very low RPI rank and lost to tiny Quinnipiac this season.

Duke meanwhile ranked No. 1 in the important RPI list, despite its ACC tournament quarterfinal loss to Maryland.

The Blue Devils currently sports a 27-5 record overall in NCAAB action, and have posted a corresponding betting slate of 17-15 ATS. The Great Danes are 24-10 and 4-2 ATS. Betting totals have seen the Blue Devils produce a 17-15 OVER/UNDER record on the season, while the Great Danes have gone 0-4 against the number.


Michigan State vs Valpo betting preview

The Valparaiso Crusaders, champs of the Horizon League, take on Michigan State Thursday in Midwest region college basketball betting action.

Valpo is a big underdog as the 13 seed against a Spartans team that is seeded fourth and coming off a loss in the Big Ten tournament semifinals.

The Spartans, led by Keith Appling (guard) and Gary Harris (guard) beat five teams ranked in the Top 25 during the season. Valpo did not beat any Top 25 schools in compiling their 26-7 record and they rely on forward Ryan Broekhof. They are 16-2 SU in their past 18 games and look for the upset here.

The Spartans bring a 25-8 record (13-16-1 ATS) to this tilt against the 26-7 Crusaders, who are 18-12 ATS. OVER/UNDER bettors have witnessed Michigan State go 13-16 so far and the Crusaders go 14-14.


NBA Odds: Nuggets battle Sixers

The Denver Nuggets will put their 13-game winning streak on the line on Thursday night as they play host to the Philadelphia 76ers in marquee NBA betting action at the online sportsbooks.

Denver ran its winning streak to 13 games on Tuesday night with a 114-104 win on the road in Oklahoma City. The Nuggets, though, have picked up a loss in four of their past five games against the Sixers dating back to 2010, going 1-4 ATS in those contests.

NHL Betting: Bruins vs. Senators

With nine wins over their past 10 games against the Ottawa Senators the Boston Bruins will be on the road at Scotiabank Place on Thursday night looking to grab yet another victory.

Boston edged Ottawa 3-2 as a road favorite on the NHL betting lines at the sportsbooks when those division rivals last met on March 11, after beating them 2-1 at home on February 28. The OVER/UNDER is 0-3-1 for bettors in their last four meetings.
