Thunder favored in Game 3 vs Spurs

Winners of 20 games in a row, the San Antonio Spurs are small road underdogs at the sportsbooks for Thursday as they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.

The Spurs are up 2-0 in the best-of-seven series after grabbing a 120-111 win and covering the posted spread on the NBA odds in Game 2 at home on Tuesday. Tony Parker had 34 points for San Antonio.

San Antonio is a rare underdog and they have excelled in the role, going 8-3 ATS in their past 11 tries as a dog. Interestingly, the OVER is 8-2 the past 10 games where the Spurs were underdogs, but the number opened high at 5Dimes yesterday.

Oklahoma City battles the Spurs, currently with a 50-16 mark (42-20-4 ATS). The OVER/UNDER records, important for totals bettors, are 31-35 for the Thunder and 39-26-1 for the Spurs.

Heat vs Celtics Series Betting Preview

Can a Celtics team that barely beat the 76ers possibly handle the Miami Heat?

Can Boston even get a game off Miami, with Dwyane Wade and LeBron James dominating as they did in the Indiana series?

A Miami sweep pays only +450, a low figure for any recent NBA Eastern Conference championship odds. And the Heat opened as 8.5-point home chalk in Game 1.

Like the Celtics in a sweep? That's a +5000 payout (and highly unlikely).
