NFL Betting: Week 15 Opening Lines

Heat vs Hawks Betting Preview

LeBron James and the Miami Heat will be gunning for their second ATS win of the season over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night as those teams hit the hardwood in an NBA betting matchup in Florida.

Miami beat Atlanta 95-89 as a 4-point road favorite when the teams last met on November 9, improving the Heat to 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS over their last 10 games against the Hawks. The UNDER has paid out for totals bettors in each of their last two matchups.

The Heat bring a 13-5 record (8-10 ATS) to the battle against the 12-5 Hawks, who are 7-9-1 ATS. OVER/UNDER bettors have seen Miami go 11-7 so far and the Hawks go 8-8-1. (Note: follow us on Twitter for line updates and injuries news).

NFL Picks: Week 14 Betting Predictions

The computer loved road teams in Week 13 and they went 8-8 SU, a far cry from the 12-2 ATS predicted (for the 14 games that had lines as of midweek).

The Week 14 NFL picks pendulum swings back in favor of home teams, at least according to the Odds Shark super computer, which wasn’t very super last weekend.

It was 10-6 SU, but just 7-8-1 ATS. It likes the Broncos to start the week with a road cover at Oakland. The 34-13 prediction would easily cover the 12-point spread, but Denver’s recent record as a big favorite is abysmal (0-11 ATS as chalk of 8+ points).

Lions vs Packers Betting Preview

The Green Bay Packers are 13-1 SU and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 meetings against the Detroit Lions, and will look to continue their dominance over their division rival Sunday night at Lambeau Field.

Green Bay is a staggering 21-0 SU and 14-5-2 ATS in its last 21 home games against the Lions.

While the Packers dominate division foes (10-0 SU, 9-1 ATS past 10 within NFC North), the Lions struggle (1-8 SU, 0-8-1 ATS).

Detroit is just 5-13-1 ATS over its last 19 games. The total has gone UNDER in four of Green Bay's last five games and in five of the last seven games between these two teams.

Giants vs Saints Betting Preview

The New Orleans Saints are 3-0 SU and ATS in their last three meetings with the New York Giants and will try to add another win to that streak Sunday when they visit the Giants at MetLife Stadium.

New Orleans has won each of its last three games against New York by at least 20 points each.

But with the Giants riding a losing streak, is this a spot for New York to easily cover? And if the defense clamps down, does the UNDER trend which has prevailed lately in Giants games continue?

Indeed, the UNDER is 7-1 in the past 8 Giants home games and its 11-3 the past 14 times the Giants were favored.

New York is 6-2 SU and 4-4 ATS over its last eight home games. Overall, the total has gone UNDER in four of New Orleans' last six games and in six of New York's last seven.

Ravens vs Redskins Betting Preview

The Washington Redskins are 3-0 SU and ATS over their last three games and will look to keep their playoff hopes alive with another win this Sunday at FedExField hosting the Baltimore Ravens.

Baltimore is 4-1 SU and 3-1-1 ATS over its last five games after having its four-game winning streak ended last Sunday.

Washington is 1-3 SU and ATS in its last four games against Baltimore. The total went UNDER in all four of those games.

Dallas is 0-3 ATS over its last three games, but the Cowboys are just 1-9 SU in their past 10 games as underdog. The Bengals, meanwhile, have won and covered 4 straight games.

The total has gone UNDER in seven of Dallas's last nine road games and in five of Cincinaati's last six games overall. Cincinnati is just 3-7-1 ATS over its last 11 home games but is 2-0 ATS over its last two.

Monday Night Football: Pats vs Texans

The New England Patriots host the Houston Texans this Monday Night at Gillette Stadium and both teams enter the game with six-game winning streaks.

New England is 3-2-1 ATS over its 6-0 streak while Houston is 4-2 ATS.

Overall, the Patriots are 19-1 SU past 20 games in December, while the Texans are a perfect 6-0 ATS recently as an underdog.

Houston is 10-2 SU and 9-3 ATS over its last 12 road games with six straight road wins. New England is 21-4 SU over its last 25 home games but is just 2-5 ATS over its last seven.

The computer has picked a 40-37 Pats win.

Pacquiao vs Marquez Betting Preview

Manny Pacquiao remains a -250 moneyline favorite for the fourth installment of his battle with Juan Manuel Marquez.

And while Pacman owns two controversial decisions and a draw against Marquez, the argument can be made that he has never beaten Marquez. The boxing odds favor the Filipino champion again here.
