NBA Odds: Clippers vs Perfect Warriors

Curry Griffin Clippers Warriors

The Golden State Warriors will attempt to extend their perfect season to 13-0 when they hit the court at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles to take on the Clippers. The Warriors’ 12 straight SU wins has translated to a 7-5 ATS record and a 5-7 OVER/UNDER record.

The Clippers have been inconsistent this season and have failed to string together consecutive wins this month. Five of their six wins, however, have come at home. Blake Griffin has been especially good at home this season, putting up 29.7 points, grabbing 10 boards and dishing out 4.3 assists.

The teams played earlier this month in Golden State with the Warriors prevailing 112-108. No shock—Steph Curry was the star of the game. He connected on seven three-pointers and put up 31 points overall. Golden State has now won three in a row vs the Clips, winning the last two by four points each.

Both Chris Paul and J.J. Redick as listed as doubtful for the game, making the Clippers backcourt extremely shallow. Expect the splash brothers to make it rain.

Virginia Looking to Rebound vs Bradley

The sixth-ranked Virginia Cavaliers received a rude awakening Monday evening against George Washington on Monday by falling 73-68 to the Colonials and becoming the first top-10 team to lose this season. You can be certain that Virginia head coach Tony Bennett will be demanding a better effort from his players when the Cavaliers tangle with the Bradley Braves at TD Arena in the semifinals of the Charleston Classic.

Shark Bites
 • Virginia 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall.
 • Bradley is 0-4 SU and ATS in its last four games with two days off.
 • Virginia is 9-0 SU in its last nine games after a loss.

The schedule makers haven’t been kind to Bradley to begin the season, forcing the Braves to take on two top-10 opponents out of the gate. Bradley lost 90-60 to Arizona to begin the campaign while failing to cover the +28 spread. The Braves opened as 23.5-point pups for Thursday’s matchup.

The winner of the clash will face the Seton Hall-Long Beach State survivor in their semifinal tilt on Friday. The Braves have lost nine straight regular season tournament games overall, with their last win coming against USC in 2010.

NHL: Stars Have Dominated the Capitals

Jamie Benn Dallas Stars

The Dallas Stars will be looking to make it eight in a row against the Washington Capitals tonight at the Verizon Center in DC. Playing on the road hasn’t phased the Stars in the least this season, as they’re now 8-1 in their last nine road games.

The Capitals, who played last night, have responded well in the second game of back-to-backs, winning five of their last six games in that situation.

The UNDER is trending for both teams, with the total going UNDER in four of the Caps last five home games, and the total going UNDER in six straight games for the Stars after a win. The Capitals have seen the majority of their games go UNDER this season, posting a 5-10-2 O/U record.

In seven career games vs Washington, Stars forward Jamie Benn has seven points.

Jags Have Been Dominant ATS vs Titans

Hurns Jaguars

The Week 11 edition of Thursday Night Football may not be the most attractive matchup on the NFL slate, but bettors of the Jacksonville Jaguars will be glad to see that the trends are working in their favor ahead of their matchup with the Tennessee Titans. In the last nine meetings between the two clubs, the Jags are 7-1-1 ATS.

Shark Bites

The Jaguars are 6-14 SU in their last 20 games at home.

The Titans are 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games after a loss.

The Titans are 2-5 SU in their last seven games against the Jaguars in November.

The Jags have won two of their last three games thanks to a 22-20 victory over the suddenly lowly Baltimore Ravens last week and look better than their 3-6 SU record. The Titans fell 27-10 to undefeated Carolina last Sunday while looking disorganized in basically every facet of the game. Dating back to last season, Tennessee is just 2-17 SU in their last 19 games.

Thursday Night Football has been kind to bettors of the Titans, however. Tennessee is 5-2 ATS in their last seven Thursday games.

Will Warriors 12-0 Start Equal Finals Win?

Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors joined some elite company when they beat the Toronto Raptors to bring their record to 12-0. Golden State is the first team in over a decade to start perfect after 12 games. The last team to accomplish the feat was the 2002-03 Mavericks, who actually started 14-0. The only other teams to start 12-0 since the 1993-94 season were the 1996-97 Bulls and the 1993-94 Rockets.

OVER Hot Between Blackhawks, Oilers

Edmonton Oilers Taylor Hall

There are a lot of reasons to like the OVER in Wednesday’s game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Edmonton Oilers. In the Blackhawks past eight games the OVER is 6-2 and the Oilers have topped the closing total in seven of their past nine.

The Blackhawks have faltered on the road this season with a 2-5-0 record away from the United Center while losing five of their past six travelling. Patrick Kane continues to be the best offensive player in the NHL, as he leads the league in points, goals and plus/minus rating.

If the Oilers want to climb out of obscurity, they will need to beef up their defense as they are allowing 3.22 goals per game a mark that has them 28th in the league. Edmonton has only one regulation win in November so far.
