It'll be Carmelo vs. LeBron in NBA betting action on Friday night as the Miami Heat play host to the New York Knicks.

The Knicks are 2-0 both straight up and against the spread in their last couple of meetings with the Heat, but overall Miami is 7-3 SU (5-5 ATS) over their 10 most recent matchups since 2008.

Super Bowl Opening Line and Injuries

It all comes down to this. After a long and exciting season of NFL betting, only one game remains on the betting card; the 2012 Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants. Here’s a look at the opening lines for the big game.

New England opens as a 3-point favorite at 5Dimes. Plenty of points are expected from these two talented offenses as the total is currently set at 55 points.

NBA Odds: Celtics Magic Rematch

The Boston Celtics will take on the Orlando Magic for the second time this week when they hit the floor in Florida on Thursday.

The Celtics' defense smothered the Magic when the teams met in Boston on Monday night, as they won 87-56 as a 7-point underdog. The combined score of that contest was an easy UNDER result.

Badgers vs Hoosiers Betting Preview

The Wisconsin Badgers are favored by 7 points in a Top 25 battle against Big Ten rival Indiana and recent trends point heavily to the Badgers winning and covering the college basketbal point spread here.

The Badgers are 7-1 ATS in the past 8 meetings with Indiana and is 10-1 SU in their past 11 at home against them. Overall, Wisconsin has won 20 of 25 home games while the Hoosiers are a weak 3-22 SU in their past 25 road games.

Prince Fielder: Tigers Odds Improve

On Tuesday, the Detroit Tigers were a 14/1 longshot to win the 2012 World Series.

Their starting catcher Victor Martinez blew out his ACL and nobody expected Justin Verlander would be able to carry the team like in 2011.

Then Prince Fielder signed for the princely sum of $214 million over nine years and suddenly the Tigers were 9/1 odds.

Detroit will still chase the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox for the shortest odds in the AL, with the Texas Rangers and Anaheim Angels pushing hard with their offseason signings of Yu Darvish and Albert Pujols respectively.

Clippers Battle Lakers: NBA Lines

The Los Angeles Lakers will be out for revenge on Wednesday night as they take on the Los Angeles Clippers in NBA betting action.

The Clippers knocked off the Lakers 102-94 when those teams last met on January 14, winning as a 3-point favorite on the NBA odds in that contest. The combined score turned into an OVER result.

Duke Odds: Favored vs Maryland

Maryland looks to rebound from consecutive losses when they host the Duke Blue Devils in ACC betting action Wednesday.

The Terapins opened as 10.5-point home underdogs against a team they have beaten only once in 10 tries. The Blue Devils point spread also reflects their frustration at having lost at home Saturday against Florida State.

Cavaliers vs. Heat NBA Betting

LeBron James will go up against his old team on Tuesday night as the Miami Heat host the Cleveland Cavaliers in NBA betting action.

The Cavaliers took the most recent meeting between these teams, winning 102-90 at home as a 13.5-point underdog last March. The Heat, though, are 3-2 SU and 2-3 ATS in the last five matchups.

Number 1 Kentucky Favored at Georgia

Coach John Calipari feels his top-ranked Kentucky Wildcats probably need to suffer a loss to keep them motivated, but are the Georgia Bulldogs the team to do it?

Kentucky visits Georgia as 12.5-point road chalk Tuesday and they own a 5-2 SU and ATS mark in seven recent trips tp face the Bulldogs, who are 10-9 so far on the season, and 7-8 ATS vs. the number.

The Wildcats, meanwhile, are 19-1 but just 5-14 ATS as they have struggled against the spread. OVER/UNDER bettors have seen Georgia go 6-9 and the Wildcats go 7-10-1 on the totals.

NHL Lines: No Ovi vs. Bruins

A day after visiting the White House the Boston Bruins get back to business when they meet the Washington Capitals at the Verizon Center in NHL betting action on Tuesday night.

Washington has a solid 17-6-1 record at home, but Boston is no slouch on the road and has compiled a 15-6-0 record away from TD Garden this season.

As well, the Capitals will be skating without top forward Alex Ovechkin on Tuesday, as he'll be sitting out the first game of a three-game suspension.
