UFC 130 Betting Preview

Bruisers Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Matt Hamill will square off in the Octagon this weekend in the main event of UFC 130: Rampage vs. Hamill.

Jackson returns to the Octagon for the first time since fighting Lyoto Machida at UFC 123 in November. That fight ended in controversy after Jackson was award the win by split decision. Many experts who scored the fight thought Machida should have been given the victory, and a number of other UFC fighters have also spoken out against the judges' decision.


MLB Odds: Indians vs. Rays

James Shields takes the mound looking for another shutout tonight when his Tampa Bay Rays host the Cleveland indians.

Shields (5-2, 2.00) is coming off a complete game shutout of Florida in which he allowed only three hits while striking out 13. Carlos Carrasco (3-2, 5.16) gets the start for the Indians. In his last outing he earned a win over Cincinnati after allowing four runs on six hits over six innings.


MLB Odds: Phillies vs. Mets

The New York Mets welcome the Phillies to New York today looking to improve their 2-4 record against the Philles this season during a three-game series.

Roy Oswalt (3-2, 2.77) gets the ball for the Phillies and Chris Capuano (3-5, 5.36) starts for the Mets. Oswalt is coming off a loss against the Rangers despite allowing only one run on eight hits in seven innings. Capuano took the loss against the Yankees last time out after giving up six runs on six hits in 5 1-3 innings.


NHL Betting: Lightning vs. Bruins Game 7

It's winner-take-all on Friday night as someone will advance to the Stanley Cup final when the Tampa Bay Lightning and Boston Bruins meet in Game 7 of the NHL's Eastern Conference final.


MLB Odds: Red Sox vs. Tigers

The Boston Red Sox have won four in a row against the Tigers as the begin a four-game set in Detroit tonight.

Alfredo Aceves (1-0, 2.42) gets the start for Boston tonight, while Max Scherzer (6-1, 2.98) will go for the Tigers. Aceves made his first start of the season last week against the White Sox and allowed one run on three hits over five innings. Scherzer suffered his first loss of the season last time out after giving up three runs on seven hits in 5 2-3 innings against Pittsburgh.


NBA Playoff Betting: Bulls vs. Heat

The Miami Heat are one win away from advancing to the NBA Finals tonight when they face the Chicago Bulls in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Heat took a 3-1 series lead on Tuesday night with a 101-93 win in overtime as 5-point favorites. LeBron James led the Heat with 35 points and Derrick Rose had 23 points for Chicago.


Coca-Cola 600 Betting Preview

Fresh off a run-in with the law Kyle Busch is one of the favorites at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend at the Coca-Cola 600.

Busch made headlines on Tuesday after he was clocked going 128 mph in a 45 mph zone by North Carolina police. NASCAR has Busch under probation for a recent on-track confrontation with Kevin Harvick, but the speeding ticket won't cause him to miss this weekend's race.


MLB Betting: Marlins vs. Giants

The Florida Marlins continue a west coast swing tonight with the second game of a three-game set in San Francisco versus the Giants.

The Marlins will send Chris Volstad (2-3, 5.73) to the mound tonight, while the Giants will hand the ball to Madison Bumgarner (1-6, 3.71). Volstad picked up a loss against the Cubs in his last start after allowing three runs on four hits in five innings. Bumgarner recorded his first win of the season last time out after holding the Dodgers to one run on six hits in 8 2-3 innings.


NBA Playoff Betting: Thunder vs. Mavericks

The Oklahoma Thunder are on the brink of elimination tonight down 3-1 in the Western Conference Final heading into Game 5 against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Mavericks pulled off an epic comeback in Game 4 and won 112-105 in overtime as a 4-point underdog. Dirk Nowitzki scored 40 points for Dallas in the win and Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 29 points and 15 rebounds.


MLB Odds: Rays vs. Tigers

Justin Verlander takes to the hill today to lead the Detroit Tigers against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Verlander (4-3, 2.96) had to settle for a no decision last time out after allowing three runs on six hits with nine strikeouts in eight innings versus Boston. Wade Davis (4-4, 3.47) gets the call for Tampa Bay tonight. In his last start against Toronto Davis took the loss after giving up three runs on seven hits in 7 2-3 innings.
