Eagles battle 49ers in Week 4 odds

The Eagles and 49ers have played seven times since 2002 and San Francisco bettors only came out smiling once.

But with the QB situation flighty in Philly, is this the week the 2-1 49ers can win on the road? If history repeats itself, the Eagles will have no problem scoring, as they have averaged 35 PPG in those seven games against SF.

Winless Chiefs and Vikings Battle in Week 4

There are five winless teams heading into Week 4 of the NFL season, but only four will remain that way as the winless Vikings face the winless Chiefs.

Bettors quickly swung early behind the Vikes, turning a -3 open to a +1 number by midday Monday (watch line moves here at Odds Shark). The Vikings blew a lead for the third straight week in allowing the Lions to beat them at home, while the Chiefs were easily covering last week's biggest point spread (15 points) in a 20-17 loss at San Diego.

Steelers underdogs at Houston

A pair of teams coming off disappointing games lock up in Houston in Week 4 NFL betting action as the Texans host the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Texans gave up 40 points against the Saints while the Steelers were favored big at Indy and eked out a victory.

So the Texans Steelers spread opened at -3 for the home team, but this may move quickly during the week, especially if Arian Foster is declared fit to play. If you like the Steelers, you can get them at +4, -110 at 5Dimes earlier this week, check the latest Steelers Texans point spread.

Cowboys battle Lions in Week 4 odds

Five of the past six meetings between the Cowboys and Lions have gone UNDER the total, but this is a rare occasion where the Lions have a chance to win.

Detroit was crushed here in 2010, but comes in riding a 7-0-1 ATS mark in its past 8 games overall - a rare positive streak from one of the league's doormats in recent years.

Dallas meanwhile crept past Washington in the Week 3 Monday Nighter and Tony Romo's sore ribs bear watching again this week after the opening lines are posted.

Browns battle Titans in Week 4 odds

Expect the line to hover around PK all week as the Tennessee Titans visit Cleveland to take on the Browns in Week 4 NFL odds action.

Minus injured WR Kenny Britt, the Titans offense will have to look to Nate Washington and others to make plays against a 2-1 Browns team. Both teams have surprisingly won two straight after opening-game losses.

Bills face Bengals in Week 4 odds

The Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals have played eight times since 1996 and the Bills are a perfect 8-0 and a near-perfect 7-1 ATS against the Bengals.

So when the line opened at just -3 for the surprising 3-0 Bills, many bettors jumped on the line. But is this a letdown spot for Buffalo, a week after a huge home win over the division-rival Patriots and looking ahead to a Week 5 date with Philadelphia?

Of note, the Bills are currently the league's top-rated offense at 37.1 PPG and they averaged more than 33 PPG in those eight games vs Cincinnati.

Panthers Pack No Bite as Underdogs

Chicago gets its first chance to witness the Cam Newton Show Sunday and the Bears open as favorites to win this Week 4 battle against the Carolina Panthers.

The Cats got their first win of the season (over Jacksonville) while the Bears lost their second straight (to Green Bay) in Week 3.

MLB Betting: Yankees vs. Rays

David Price (12-13, 3.35 ERA) gets the ball for the Rays on Wednesday night in their crucial game at home against the Yankees.

Price will be looking to continue his recent success against New York in this contest; when he took on the Bronx Bombers back on August 12 he gave up just one run over eight strong innings of work.

MLB Odds: Red Sox vs. Orioles

The Red Sox will send Erik Bedard (5-9, 3.50 ERA) to the mound on Tuesday night as they continue their road set against the Orioles.

Lefthander Bedard lasted just 2 2-3 innings in a start against Baltimore last time out, surrendering four runs (one earned) on five hits and walking a pair of batters in that contest.
