NBA Odds: Clippers Host Spurs

The Clippers will be looking for a win at the Staples Center over the Spurs on Saturday when they meet on the NBA betting board.

San Antonio has managed to pick up nine wins in its past 10 games against the Clippers, covering the posted spread in eight of those 10 contests. The OVER/UNDER was 5-5 in those 10 matchups.

Penguins, Flyers on NHL lines

The Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers will meet for the third time this season in early NHL betting action on Saturday afternoon.

The Penguins have won two of their last three, while the Flyers were just 3-4-3 in their last 10 games before playing Buffalo on Thursday. While Pittsburgh is much better in their past 10 games with a 6-3-1 record, they have lost both games to the Flyers this season – and five of the last six head-to-head.

Boxing Betting Odds: February Preview

The month of February has a wide selection of boxing odds to choose from, with action currently being offered on 30 fights.

A few big-name favorites including Heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko will be in action this month, as well as a few closely handicapped bouts that could be offering some great boxing betting value.

LeBron Back in Cleveland as Favorite

LeBron James has mused about possibly returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers and his Miami Heat are there tonight in NBA betting action.

This is the sixth straight meeting where the Cavs have been double-digit underdogs to Miami. Both times this season the game has gone UNDER the total.

Cavalier bettors can take some comfort (and risk) in knowing their team is 6-1 SU in its last 7 games when playing at home against Miami.

NBA Betting: Mavs vs. Sixers

The Dallas Mavericks will be on the road on Friday night for an NBA betting matchup in Philadelphia against the Sixers.

Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavericks are 8-2 straight up and 5-4-1 against the spread in their past 10 games against the Sixers dating back to 2006. The OVER/UNDER went 2-8 in those 10 games.

Valpo vs LMU Friday Wagering

Valparaiso opened as 6.5-point underdogs as they hit the road for Loyola Marymount to take on the Lions on Friday in college hoops betting action.

However the total might be the best bet of the night, which also sees the Ivy League schools in action. The total has gone UNDER in 9 of Loyola Marymount's last 10 games and in all five of Valpo's recent road matches.

Loyola Marymount will face the 19-9 Crusaders, who own a 12-12-1 ATS mark on the season. In totals betting, the Lions are 10-14 favoring the UNDER so far this season while the Crusaders are 10-15 favoring the OVER.

Knicks Odds Rise on Lin Hype

It`s one of the most compelling stories in sports history and it`s having just as big an effect on sportsbooks as on the public.

Jeremy Lin, cast off from the Warriors and Rockets, has become an overnight sensation in New York, where the Knicks have won 9 straight and covered the spread 8 times.

At Bovada, the NBA future odds have soared from 40 to 1 all the way to 18 to 1.

NC State Big Dogs at Duke

Duke has won 13 straight games when playing at home against North Carolina State and they are favored by 10.5 points to do it again tonight in ACC betting action.

The Blue Devils rebounded from a bad home loss to Miami with wins over Maryland and that crazy buzzer beater at UNC. For NC State, they have not won as a double-digit underdog since beating Duke last January, so there is history of the Wolfpack upsetting Duke.

Of note, Duke is just 1-5 ATS in their past 6 home games and the scores prediction computer has projected a 83-80 final score, which would be an NC State cover (see the best underdog line at Bovada).

Badgers face Spartans in Big Ten Bet

The 15th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers hit the road for a huge Big Ten battle with Michigan State, who will look to improve on their No. 7 rank and overall 20-5 record Thursday at Breslin Center.

Wisconsin has won four straight road games and come in here as 6-point underdogs. They lost at home in January against MSU, which was the first time in 10 meetings that the home team did not win.

The Badgers also boast the nation's stingiest defense, which accounts for the very low over under value (114.5).

NBA Odds: Celtics vs. Bulls

The Boston Celtics will try to improve on their road record on Thursday night as they take on the Bulls in NBA betting action.

Boston won and covered the spread against Chicago the last time the teams met on Sunday, picking up a 95-91 victory. The Celtics are 5-5 SU and 4-6 ATS in their last 10 matchups with the Bulls.
