Sunday Night Pick: Saints vs Lions

The Lions have roared in December and the Saints continue to dominate at home. One of those trends comes crashing down Sunday night in NFL wagering action.

New Orleans has a short week after clobbering the Giants on MNF and the Saints are now 8-1 SU and ATS in their past 9 home games.

Can the Lions recover and get back into Wild Card contention? One sportsbook opened the Lions as 9-point road dogs early Tuesday (watch the Lions vs Saints line moves during the week at Odds Shark).

Giants vs Packers Betting Report

Green Bay looks to move to 12-0 but doing what they have done the past three times they visited the New York Giants - win straight up and cover the spread too.

While the Giants will operate on a short week after getting hammered by the Saints on Monday Night, the Packers bring their bankroll-padding 19-1 SU and 15-5 ATS past 20 games as NFL chalk to the table. They are also 9-0 SU and 7-2 ATS their past 9 road games.

Patriots battle huge spread vs Colts

The biggest NFL point spread in four years appears on the Week 13 NFL odds menu as the winless Indianapolis Colts visit the New England Patriots Sunday.

The spread opened at 22 points and could climb higher as bettors debate whether the Pats can take apart the Colts like they took apart the Eagles last Sunday. And while it was when Peyton Manning was under center, Indy has covered its past three trips to Foxboro.

Chargers vs Jaguars MNF Pick

San Diego is on its longest losing skid in a decade but a trend points to them winning and covering the Monday Night point spread in Week 13.

The Chargers visit the Jacksonville Jaguars, who just sacked head coach Jack Del Rio. All four career meetings between these teams played OVER the total and the home team won and covered the NFL point spread in each game.

NFL Week 13 Picks: Computer

It looked bad after a 1-2 ATS start on Thanksgiving Day, but the NFL picks engine powered up the rest of the way for a 10-6 ATS for Week 12.

And the computer is back for Week 13, looking to improve on its documented 40-20 ATS over the past four weeks.

The Week 13 NFL predictions begin with a 22-17 result Thursday in Seattle, where the Eagles are picked to win. There is no point spread yet on the game.

NFL Props Bets: Young QBs

Two of the most interesting quarterback situations in the NFL right now are the Houston Texans and the Denver Broncos. In Denver, Tim Tebow continues to defy odds and experts and keep winning. In Houston, the Texans are down to third-string quarterback T.J. Yates after losing Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart to season-ending injuries in back-to-back games.

Here’s a look at the prop bets Bovada has available on those two quarterbacks as well as a few other interesting prop betting options for Week 13.

NFL Betting Board: Sunday Setup

With just over a month left to play in the regular season playoff races are heating up for some teams, while others must accept the role of spoiler. Regardless of where teams sit in the standings, NFL injuries and suspensions are a factor. Here are some player updates that will be key to this weekend’s NFL betting.

Adrian Peterson ruled out

Big Ten Championship Game Odds

The Michigan State Spartans and the Wisconsin Badgers provided one of the most entertaining games of the regular season back in October, and they’ll meet for a rematch and a trip to the Rose Bowl in the Big Ten Championship Game.

While not much has separated these two teams at 5-5 SU and ATS in their last 10 meetings, offense has been consistent; the OVER is 8-0-1 in their last nine games.

Montee Ball has scored 34 touchdowns this season, and is just five shy of Barry Sanders’ all-time single-season record of 39.

Big 12 Title Game Betting

The No. 3 Oklahoma State Cowboys host the No. 13 Oklahoma Sooners with the Big 12 and a Fiesta Bowl berth on the line.

If Oklahoma State wins convincingly, there is a slight chance that they could pass Alabama and earn a trip to the BCS Championship Game. Oklahoma has dominated this rivalry recently though as the Sooners are 8-0 SU and 7-1 ATS in their last 10 games against the Cowboys.

Brandon Weeden threw for 476 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions in Oklahoma State’s stunning loss to Iowa State.

LSU vs Georgia: SEC Title Game Odds

The LSU Tigers have already done enough to earn a trip to the BCS National Championship Game, but with a win over the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship Game in the Georgia Dome they could finish up their undefeated regular season and win the conference title.

LSU is 12-0 SU and 9-3 ATS this season, while Georgia is 10-0 SU and 8-2 ATS in its last 10 games after losing its first two of the season.

Rueben Randle had nine catches for 134 yards in LSU’s 41-17 win over Arkansas.
