Profile on Derby Contender Exaggerator

Kentucky Derby Exaggerator

The brothers Desormeaux will team up on the first Saturday of May for the Kentucky Derby (G1) with Exaggerator, Keith doing the training and the Hall of Fame rider Kent the pilot.

The son of two-time Horse of the Year Curlin is coming off an impressive victory in the Santa Anita Debry (G1), which has put him squarely in the mix as a top contender for the Run for the Roses. His current Derby betting odds are at Bovada at 8-1, good for second choice in the early betting

Ezekiel Elliott Season Betting Props

Ezekiel Elliott could not have asked to be drafted into a better situation when the Dallas Cowboys called his name in the NFL Draft. The Cowboys offensive line has been amazing at leading the way for runners with the team rushing for a combined 4244 yards the past two seasons.

CLE Aims To Continue Dominance of DET

The Cleveland Indians have continually trumped the Detroit Tigers with the Tribe winning seven of the past eight meetings between the AL Central clubs. Cleveland has averaged 5.6 runs per game in their last eight outings with Detroit, which has lead to the OVER cashing six times.

Corey Kluber will take to the mound for the Indians coming off back-to-back stellar performances. Kluber has gone a combined 15.0 innings in his last two games while allowing just seven hits and three earned runs. One of those two outings came against the Tigers, a game that saw Kluber go 8.0 innings with 10 strikeouts and no walks.

The Tigers will start Anibal Sanchez, who has been wildly inconsistent this season. In Sanchez’ three wins this season he has allowed just two runs per game, but the righty has allowed a combined 12 earned runs in his two losses.

Top Three Las Vegas Pools

Summer is one of the most fun times of year to visit Las Vegas if you do not mind dealing with the heat, as temperatures average at least 100 degrees during the months of June, July and August. The summer days for many Vegas visitors are often spent poolside, so it is important to know what casino resorts have the best pools and outdoor accommodations for your enjoyment even if you are not staying there.

Nats Perfect With Strasburg Pitching

Stephen Strasburg will be making his sixth start this season when the Washington Nationals take on the Kansas City Royals Wednesday. The Nats have won all five games that Strasburg has started this season with the righty posting a 2.25 ERA and a 40/8 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

The Royals will counter with Kris Medlen, who has been quietly steady this season. Outside of one rough outing in which he gave up seven earned runs in 3.2 innings, Medlen has only given up four combined runs in his other three starts this season.

Bryce Harper has been struggling at the plate recently, with the superstar going just 1-for-20 through the past five games. Harper was hitting .314 before hitting his recent slump, but has seen his batting average fall to .256.

Hawks Have Never Beaten Cavs in Playoffs

Kyle Korver LeBron James

The Cleveland Cavaliers have had the Atlanta Hawks’ number in the postseason, and it really hasn’t been close in recent years. The Cavs improved to 9-0 all-time against the Hawks in the playoffs in Game 1, and they’ll have an opportunity to reach double-digits when Game 2 tips off in Ohio on Wednesday.

Shark Bites
  • The Cavaliers are 12-1 SU in their last 13 games with one day off between games.
  • The Hawks are 0-4 SU and ATS in their last four games as an underdog of 7.5 or less.
  • The total has gone UNDER in the Hawks' last five games with one day off between games.

Sweet-shooting big man Kevin Love’s status has been up in the air for the wine and gold, as the power forward banged his right shoulder when he got Kent Bazemore off his feet with a pump fake while drawing a hard foul in a three-point attempt. Love has not spotted at the team’s facility since, but head coach Ty Lue said he was “fine.”

Hawks’ sharpshooter Kyle Korver went ice-cold in the opening game, attempting just one shot – a missed three-pointer – in nearly 37 minutes thanks to some stellar defense by J.R. Smith.

LeBron James has not been getting to the free throw line, which means the Hawks have to take advantage of that. James attempted just one three throw in Game 1.

Penguins Almost Perfect After a Day Off

Penguins Capitals NHL

Game 4 of the second round series between the Penguins and Capitals goes tonight in Pittsburgh and the Pens will look a grab a 3-1 series stranglehold. Coming off Monday’s 3-2 victory, Pittsburgh is now on a run that’s seen them go 14-1 in their last 15 games with a day off between games. The day off between games trend hasn’t been as kind to the Caps, as they’re 1-4 in their last five in that situation.

The Pens will be without a key part of their lineup as defenseman Kris Letang has been suspended for a late hit on Marcus Johansson in Game 3. Letang’s absence will leave a major void in Pittsburgh’s lineup. The defenseman has averaged over 30 minutes of ice time during the series and the Pens were 2-8-1 without Letang in the lineup during the regular season.

Pittsburgh entered the day as slim +105 favorites to win the game. They’ve been on a nice roll as home favorites, posting a 15-5 record in their last 20 games in that situation, including wins in six of their last seven as home faves.

The Capitals tend to be a good bounce back team as they’re 23-7 in their last 30 games after a loss. A loss tonight would be three straight for them — something that’s happened just once since the calendar flipped to 2016.

The Greatest Upset Ever

Unless you’re just waking up from a coma you’ve likely heard. The greatest sports betting upset of all time happened Monday evening when Leicester City clinched the top of the Premier League table after opening the season at 5000-1.

“In hindsight, we were idiots offering odds of 5,000-1." Irish and UK bookmaker Paddy Power said in a statement.

PGA: Wells Fargo Championship Odds

Rory McIlroy PGA

The Wells Fargo Championship is one of the newer events on the PGA Tour, but it’s quickly established itself as a premier non-major tournament. That’s a big reason this year’s field features plenty of starry names, which presents tons of intriguing options for golf bettors.

At online sportsbook Bovada, Rory McIlroy is a gigantic +450 favorite to win it all. Dustin Johnson (+1400), Adam Scott (+1600), Rickie Fowler (+1600), Henrik Stenson (+2000) and Justin Rose (+2000) have the next best odds at the shop.

Profile on Derby Contender Gun Runner

Trainer Steve Asmussen is headed to the Hall of Fame later this summer, and has a good chance of making it an even better year when he saddles Gun Runner in Saturday’s Kentucky Derby (G1) at Churchill Downs.

The colt finished first in the Road to the Kentucky Derby points standings with 151, picking up 100 of those points with his impressive victory in the Louisiana a Derby (G2) at Fair Grounds on March 26 in his final prep.
