NFL Odds: Week 3 NFL Line Moves

The biggest NFL line move so far this week at the sportsbooks has come in the Cincinnati at Washington contest, with the Redskins slipping from 4.5-point to just 3-point favorites since odds were first posted for Week 3 of the season.

Several other games have seen shifts of a single point, including Thursday night's Giants/Panthers clash in Carolina which opened as a pick'em but now has the Panthers favored by 1 point at home.

USC Favored Over Cal: Pac 12 Pick

The USC Trojans, coming off a devastating loss at Stanford, look to pick up the pieces when they host the Cal Bears Saturday night (6 pm ET Pac-12 Network).

Southern Cal, which was held to 14 points by the Cardinal and dropped to No. 12 in the rankings, is favored by 16 points over the Bears, who just lost a tough one at Ohio State.

USC is 6-1 ATS in their past seven battles with Cal.

Injury impacts Giants-Panthers spread

The New York Giants will be without one of their top weapons for Thursday’s game at Carolina.Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who had a monster game in Sunday’s win over Tampa Bay, will not play against the Panthers due to a sore foot.

Giants vs Panthers Odds Preview

When the Carolina Panthers host the New York Giants Thursday night at Bank of America Field, bettors should be ready for plenty of offense.

The total has gone OVER in six of the last seven meetings between these two teams. Both teams went OVER in their game last Sunday and six of the seven meetings in franchise history have played OVER the total.

The total opened at 52 Tuesday and New York was a 1-point road favorite at 5Dimes, a position where the Giants have been very tough, going 8-2 ATS past 10 times in this role.

Baylor vs UL Monroe Betting Pick

Baylor has lost four of five road games of late, but they opened as 9-point favorites for Friday night's college football matchup against Louisiana-Monroe.

The Bears are 2-0, but are 0-5 ATS in their past five road games and they face a Warhawks team that has upset Arkansas and nearly upset Auburn a week ago.

Bet Chargers, Texans: Super Bowl Futures

Scrap your Super Bowl future bets on the Patriots and Packers and load up on the 49ers and Texans.

The results of the first two weeks of the season historically mean New England and Green Bay – favorites just two weeks ago – will not be playing in Super Bowl XVII in New Orleans.

The reason? They did not start the year 2-0, a fact that has doomed every NFL team in the past six years (except the New York Giants).
