Oregon Favored Against UCLA in Week 7

Giants opening NLCS on road in St. Louis

The St. Louis Cardinals will turn to righthander Adam Wainwright on Saturday night as they take on the visiting San Francisco Giants in the opener of this year's NLCS.

Wainwright is 5-5 with a 3.11 ERA over his dozen career appearances against the Giants, and he picked up a no-decision in the NLDS against the Dodgers when he gave up six runs on 11 hits while fanning five in 4 1-3 innings.

The Giants will turn to lefthander Madison Bumgarner for the opener of the NLCS on Saturday night. Bumgarner has posted a 3-4 mark with a 3.97 ERA in his career against the Cardinals, and he took the loss against the Nationals in his only NLDS appearance (two earned runs in seven innings).

O's play host to Royals in ALCS Game 2

The Baltimore Orioles will be up against righthander Yordano Ventura on Saturday as they play host to the Kansas City Royals at Camden Yards in the second game of the ALCS.

Ventura has faced the Orioles twice in his career, allowing just two runs on 14 hits over those 14 1-3 innings of work while striking out 17 batters. Ventura held the Angels to one run over seven innings in his lone ALDS appearance.

The Orioles will turn to Bud Norris in Game 2 of the series on Saturday. Norris is 0-1 with an 0.68 ERA over his two career appearances against the Royals, and he held the Tigers scoreless on two hits over 6 1-3 innings in a win in the ALDS last round.

The Montreal Canadiens have managed to win just one of their last five games against the Philadelphia Flyers as those two teams hit the ice together on Saturday night.
