Oklahoma vs. Texas opening lines

Week 6 of the college football season is loaded with some key season-defining games. Three games this week are between two ranked opponents.

NASCAR Betting: Hollywood Casino 400

Brad Keselowski will be looking to make an impact on the NASCAR betting board this weekend as the Sprint Cup Series stages the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Keselowski won the STP 400 at Kansas back in June, beating Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Denny Hamlin across the finish line at that event. Jeff Gordon and Carl Edwards also picked up Top-5 results in the STP 400.

Who Will Win NHL Awards

The Sedins are identical twins but their NHL MVP odds are not quite identical.

And neither is the top choice according to online sportsbook Bovada. That honor goes to Alexander Ovechkin at 4/1 odds, followed by young Tampa Bay sniper Steven Stamkos at 11/2.

Former MVP Sid Crosby will start the season on injured reserve, but oddsmakers still respect The Kid's clout, making him third choice at 13/2.

Colts Double Digit Dogs on MNF Odds

The pain continues in Indianapolis where the 0-3 Colts hit the road to face a medicore Tampa Bay team and still manage to open as double-digit underdogs in the Week 4 Monday Nighter.

Indy is 3-0 ATS in three games against the Buccaneers since 1997 and they try find some momentum with Peyton Manning likely shelved for the season. The OVER is 10-2 in their past 12 road games. For what it's worth, the Bucs have lost 5 straight October home games ATS.

MLB Odds: Yankees vs. Tigers

The Tigers will send ace Justin Verlander to the mound again on Monday night as they host Game 3 of their ALDS with the Yankees.

Righthander Verlander started Game 1 of this set as well, but rain kept his outing to just a single inning. Yankees lefthander CC Sabathia, who also started in Game 1, returns to the hill Monday too.

MLB Odds: D-Backs vs. Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers will play host to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday in the second game of their National League Division Series.

The Brewers will be looking to lean on their sluggers in this best-of-five series; Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder combined to hit 71 home runs and drive in 231 runs for the team this season.

Ravens Jets Sunday Night Preview

Baltimore and New York each has designs on an AFC playoff spot, but history tells us the Ravens will win this game as they are 6-1 SU in seven meetings against the Jets since 1997.

The Ravens are 13-1 SU in their past 14 home games, but the total may be the trend most attractive to Week 4 NFL bettors. In their past 13 road games, the Jets have played OVER the total 12 times for a 12-1 clip.

The total is 40 and only one of those 7 meetings saw more than 37 points scored, indicating a possible low-scoring match.

NFL Week 4 Betting Trends

In Week 3, the two most dominant trends blew up in the face of bettors.

Buffalo snapped an 0-15 run by defeating the Patriots and the Lions won in Minnesota for just the second times in 17 trips there. Week 4 NFL trends are not nearly as one-sided, but perhaps they can be more profitable.

San Francisco faces an ugly trend in its game at Philadelphia, but it’s more to do with the division itself than with the Eagles. The 49ers have lost 13 of 14 games to NFC East teams dating back several years and they have bled money on the point spread too, going 1-11-2 ATS.

Patriots visit Raiders in Week 4 battle

New England hits the road for Oakland a week after their epic collapse at Buffalo where the Bills rallied from 21-0 down.

The Patriots came to town three years ago and walloped the Raiders 49-26, but these Raiders are 3-0 ATS on the year.

Again, the total may be the pick with the most supporting trends as the Pats are 6-1 ATS in their past 7 road games and the Raiders have played OVER in 5 straight at home.
