Moore Has Equaled Losses and OVERs

Tampa Bay Rays’ pitcher Matt Moore has been providing terrific value for bettors this season, though maybe not in the best of ways. The Rays are an abysmal 1-7 in Moore’s past eight starts with the lefty's pitching struggles helping the OVER go 5-1-2 in that span. Moore will take the mound when the Rays continue their series with the Arizona Diamondbacks Tuesday.

After a rough start to his D-Backs’ tenure, Zack Greinke has started to appear like the pitcher the team shelled out a ludicrous amount of money for. Greinke is 7-1 with a 3.46 ERA in his past 10 starts – including going 4-0 with a 2.57 ERA in his past four trips to the mound.

The Rays have been an OVER machine as of late, with seven of their past eight games topping to closing total. Those eight games have seen the Rays and their opponents’ average over 10 runs per game.

White Sox Hope To Right Sinking Ship

It may be hard to remember that the Chicago White Sox sat atop the American League not that long ago, but the team is just trying to keep their heads above water at this point. The ChiSox have gone just 6-18 since May 10 with losing streaks of seven, four and three games. The White Sox kick off a three-game set with the Washington Nationals Tuesday.

The ChiSox will send Mat Latos to the mound, who has cooled off considerably after a hot start. Latos posted a 6.41 record through the month of May after putting up a stellar 1.84 ERA in the first month of the season.

Joe Ross will get the starts for the Nationals in the hopes of continuing his stellar play on the road. Ross has posted a 1.54 ERA while allowing just six earned runs in six road starts this season.

Ventura Has Dominated O's In His Career

Yordano Ventura gets the start for the Kansas City Royals when they take to Camden Yards Tuesday – something that should terrify the Baltimore Orioles. Ventura has faced the O’s five times in his career while posting a 4-1 record with a 1.91 ERA across those outings – including a seven-inning, three-hit performance earlier this season.

The Orioles counter with Ubaldo Jimenez who has been struggling – to put it kindly. The righty has surrendered five or more runs in each of his past five starts while posting a dreadful 6.59 ERA on the year.

Kansas City comes into the game Tuesday struggling in their own right, as they are riding a five-game losing streak. The Royals have scored a measly seven runs in those five outings.

Dustin Johnson PGA

We’re a week away from the U.S. Open, but before the best golfers in the world descend on Oakmont Country Club the FedEx St. Jude Classic will be on display this weekend.

The final tune-up for the U.S. Open lacks the star power of golf’s big three (Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy & Jason Day) but there is still plenty of talent on display. Dustin Johnson is a +700 favorite at Bovada, with Brooks Koepka (+1400), Phil Mickelson (+1400), Ryan Palmer (+1800) and Daniel Berger (+2500) right behind him.

Runs, OVERs Galore When Mariners Play

The OVER is cashing in at a ridiculous rate for the Seattle Mariners with 11 of the M’s past 12 outings topping to closing total. Those 12 games have seen the Mariners and their opponents combine for 11.4 runs per game while notching 20 runs in a single game twice. Seattle will play host to a weekday series with the Cleveland Indians that will kick off Monday.

The Mariners will send James Paxton to the mound in place of the injured Felix Hernandez. Paxton surrendered 10 hits and eight runs – though only three of those earned – in 3.2 innings in his only other start this season.

Trevor Bauer will make his eighth start of the season - following a stint in the bullpen to start the year – for the Tribe. Bauer has posted a 4.14 ERA with a 2/1 K/BB ratio when he gets the start this year.

Faves Dominating When Jays, Tigers Meet

Books have been hitting matchups between the Toronto Blue Jays and Detroit Tigers on the head, with the favorite taking the past six meetings between the two clubs. The past four of those meetings have seen the Jays close as faves while scoring a combined 39 runs in those outings.

Rookie Michael Fulmer will try and limit the big bats of the Blue Jays, as the righty is coming off back-to-back scoreless outings. Fulmer has gone 7.2 innings in each of his past two starts while allowing just five hits and no runs.

J.A. Happ will aim to continue his solid season for the Jays with the lefty facing one of the best hitting teams in the American League. Happ has surrendered two runs or fewer in seven of his 11 starts this season.
