The owners and players came to a tentative agreement to end the lockout on Saturday morning, with training camps and free agency now both scheduled to get underway on December 9.

The first games of the regular season will be played on Christmas, with a planned tripleheader of Boston vs. New York, Miami vs. Dallas, and Chicago vs. the Lakers.

NHL Betting: Pens vs. Canadiens

With Sidney Crosby back on the ice, the Pittsburgh Penguins will play in Montreal against the Canadiens in NHL betting action on Saturday night.

The Penguins slipped past Montreal 3-1 earlier this season, and the Habs were crushed 5-2 by Pittsburgh the last time these two teams met at the Bell Centre. With Crosby back, along with a healthy roster, the Pens will surely draw the majority of attention on the NHL betting lines at 5Dimes.

Penn State vs Wisconsin Betting

The Big Ten Leaders Division is on the line Saturday when the Penn State Nittany Lions visit the Wisconsin Badgers.

After starting off the season 5-1 ATS, Wisconsin is just 1-4 ATS over its last five games, while Penn State is 2-1-1 ATS in its last four games. The winner of Saturday’s game will clinch the division and likely face Michigan State in the Big Ten Championship Game.

Monte Ball rushed for 224 yards and two touchdowns in Wisconsin’s win over Illinois last week, bringing his season total to 30 touchdowns.

Iron Bowl Odds: Alabama vs Auburn

No. 2 Alabama is in position to get a rematch against LSU in the BCS National Championship Game, but first they’ll have to survive their Iron Bowl matchup on the road against the Auburn Tigers.

While the Crimson Tide are a heavy favorite this Saturday, the Iron Bowl has not treated them well in the past; Auburn is 7-2 SU and 6-3 ATS in their last nine games against Alabama.

In last week’s tune-up against Georgia Southern, Trent Richardson rushed for 175 yards and three touchdowns, continuing to make his case for the Heisman Trophy.

Michigan favored vs Ohio State

Ohio State travels to Michigan on Saturday, in the 2011 instalment of one of college football's biggest betting events - The Game.

The Wolverines are favored to end Ohio State's scandal-plagued year with a loss. The Buckeyes however have won four straight against Michigan and they look to play the spoiler role here.

The Buckeyes will look to vanquish their hosts on Saturday, as they are 5-6 ATS versus the spread this season, while the Wolverines are 8-3 ATS.

LSU vs Arkansas SEC Betting Preview

No. 1 LSU is one game away from locking up the SEC West, and that game comes this Friday against one of their most bitter rivals, the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Arkansas has been a consistent razor-sharp thorn in LSU’s side recently winning three of their last four games against LSU and going 4-0 ATS over that stretch. They are also the No. 3-rated team in the country and present a serious threat to LSU's BCS safety.
