Wisconsin Rolling Within Conference Play

The first half of the season for Wisconsin was largely forgettable, but the second half has seen the Badgers dominate within the Big Ten. Wisconsin will enter the conference playoffs streaking, as the are 11-1 SU and 10-2 ATS in their past 12 games within the conference. The Badgers will take a four-game winning streak into their regular season finale against the Purdue Boilermakers Sunday.

The Badgers have quietly dominated within the Big Ten thanks to their stellar defense, which holds their opponents to just 63.5 points per game. During Wisconsin’s current winning streak they have averaged just 66.5 points per game, but have held their foes to 56.3 points per game.

Purdue has not gotten much media play this season, but the Boilermakers rank within the top 25 in assists, rebounds and points allowed this season. If Purdue wants to sweep their regular season seres against Wisconsin this season, they will need to find some secondary scoring. When the Boilermakers defeated the Badgers in December they had just one player (A.J. Hammons) score double-digit points.

Faves Dominating in This Big Ten Rivalry

The Maryland Terrapins late season struggles opened the door for Indiana, as the Hoosiers have locked up the Big Ten regular season crown ahead of their final meeting of the year Sunday. The favorites have been the best bet when Maryland and Indiana meet with the faves going 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS in their past six meetings.

A late season shooting slump from star Melo Trimble highlighted the Terrapins recent 2-3 SU record, with the senior shooting just 36 percent, which included a dreadful 1-for-14 performance against Wisconsin. Maryland’s recent struggles have been bad for bettors as well, with the team going just 1-3-1 ATS in their past five outings.

Indiana has been largely overlooked this season with a schedule that is softer than others in the Big Ten, but the Hoosiers enter Sunday’s affair riding a four-game winning streak. Point guard Yogi Ferrell has been the offensive centerpiece for Indiana all season with the senior averaging 17.1 points per game, the third-most in the Big Ten.

Mets Have Plenty to Prove in 2016

Jacob deGrom

Often overshadowed in North America’s largest city, the New York Mets rose from the ashes in 2015 to make a remarkable World Series run that no one saw coming. Despite losing to the Kansas City Royals in the Fall Classic, there’s plenty to like about New York City’s other baseball team this season.

Virginia’s D Has Been An Under Machine

Virginia is one of the best defensive teams in the nation this season, which has lead to the Cavaliers being one of the best UNDER plays in college basketball. The UNDER has hit in eight of Virginia’s past nine games, with the team allowing just 56 points per game. Virginia ends their regular season against the Louisville Cardinals Saturday.

Virginia is ending the season red-hot for bettors as they have gone 6-1 ATS in their past seven games, which includes the Cavaliers covering in games with closing spreads of -15.5 and -11.5 respectively. Malcolm Brogdon has been offensively peaking as of late, as the senior has averaged 23.5 points over the past four contests.

Louisville was held to a season-low 47 points while shooting just 32.7 percent from the floor in their first meeting with Virginia this season. Sophomore Cinanu Onuaku is becoming a force in the paint for Louisville as the center has averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds through the past five games.

UFC 196: Betting Odds and Predictions

Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz may not be the superfight we were expecting, but it is certainly one of the most exciting matchups we could have hoped to see as MMA fans. UFC 196 will not only feature McGregor vs Diaz, it will also see Holly Holm put her bantamweight title on the line for the first time when she takes on Miesha Tate.

Conor McGregor (-400) vs Nate Diaz (+300)

We have the featherweight champion taking on the fifth ranked lightweight in a welterweight fight. Yeah, this fight is going to be a little weird.

Battle of Ontario Seeing A Lot Of Goals

The Toronto Maple Leafs will welcome their provincial rivals, the Ottawa Senators, Saturday night in the newest chapter of the Battle of Ontario. Offense has been the name of the game when these teams meet as the OVER is 8-2 in the past 10 meetings between the Leafs and Sens. Those 10 games have seen a combined average of 6.8 goals per game.

Of course, the biggest story coming from this game is the return of Dion Phaneuf to the Air Canada Centre after the Leafs traded their long-time captain to the Ottawa Senators in the beginning of February. The trade was the first move in the Leafs mission to tank this season, with Toronto winning just two of 10 games since Phaneuf was shipped off.

As profitable as the OVER has been when the Leafs and Sens clash, Toronto’s lack of offense has made them a hot UNDER player lately. The Leafs have gone UNDER in five consecutive games with the team netting just one goal on three occasions.

The Senators have been struggling on the road all season, but it has been accentuated as of later Ottawa has just two wins in their past seven road games with those two victories coming against the lowly Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers.

Could UNDER Be The Bet in BOS, CLE?

Two top 10 offenses clash when the Boston Celtics travel to the C-Town to play the Cleveland Cavaliers Saturday. Though you would expect a high scoring affair between these two teams, the UNDER has hit in eight of their past nine meetings. Only twice in those nine games did the Celtics and Cavs combine for more than 200 points.

The Celtics enter Saturday’s affair riding a five-game winning streak in which they have averaged 106.8 points per game. Isaiah Thomas is coming off his first back-to-back 30-point games of the season, as the diminutive point guard has averaged 31 points while shooting 57.5 percent in that span.

Despite a solid 7-1 SU record in their past eight games at the Quicken Loans Arena, they are just 4-4 ATS for bettors in that span. The Cavs have been faves in each of those eight games while facing an average closing spread of -10.5. Cleveland went to a smaller lineup in their last outing and moved LeBron James to power forward, a role that he relished with James notching 19 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists.
