MLB Power Rankings: May 2

It didn't take long for the MLB Power Rankings to go through a big shakeup. In only our second week of computing all the numbers the Philadelphia Phillies have taken over the top spot on the list.

MLB Weekly Betting: Marlins vs. Cards

Florida sits second in their division but the Marlins are set to face the strong arm of Kyle Lohse of St. Louis, who will be a -165 home favorite at when they begin a four-game set on Monday.

Lohse (4-1, 1.64 ERA) has dropped two of three head-to-head and this could make the Marlins a good wager as +145 road underdogs on the MLB betting lines. Chris Volstad (2-1, 5.32 ERA) opposes Lohse and has won two of his last three against St. Louis, including a complete-game win last season.

MLB Odds: Mets vs. Phillies

NBA Betting: Weekend Playoff Matchups

The Memphis Grizzlies have another chance to send the San Antonio Spurs packing on Friday night in Game 6 of their opening-round playoff series.

Memphis nearly knocked out the Spurs in Game 5 before some late-game magic from San Antonio. Down by three with seconds remaining the Spurs put the ball in the hands of the unlikeliest of players, little-known Gary Neal. It turned out to be a brilliant move as Neal buried the game-tying three to send the game to overtime.
