Marcum lasted three innings and allowed two runs on two hits before leaving with an injury versus Tampa Bay. Burnett was tagged with the loss last time out after allowing four runs on seven hits in 6 1-3 innings.

MLB Power Rankings: June 27

The MLB Power Rankings didn't see much change near the top this week, as the Boston Red Sox remain at No. 1 for a second straight week.

Boston held on to the No. 1 spot despite a mediocre week that saw them go 2-4. That included a pair of losses to the up-and-coming Pittsburgh Pirates, but they made up for it with a pair of crushing wins, 12-3 over Milwaukee and 14-5 over San Diego.


MLB Betting: Nationals vs. Angels

The Washington Nationals head west for the opener of an Interleague matchup with the Los Angeles Angels tonight.

John Lannan (5-5, 3.40) gets the start for Washington, while Ervin Santana (3-8, 4.22) goes for the Angels. Lannan recorded a win over the Mariners last time out after allowing one run on three hits in 5 2-3 innings. Santana is coming off a loss against the Marlins in which he allowed two runs on five hits in five innings.
