Suns Easily Covering Against Nuggets

Phoenix Suns Brandon Knight

The Phoenix Suns welcome the Denver Nuggets to the Talking Stick Resort Arena Saturday in hopes to continue their domination over their foe. The Suns are 6-1 SU and ATS in their past seven games against the Nuggets.

Brandon Knight and Eric Bledsoe continue to supply the offense for the Suns, with the backcourt duo averaging 42.7 points per game. The backcourt may have even more responsibilities on their plate Saturday, as it appears that Markieff Morris might not play after suffering an injury against the Clippers Thursday.

The Nuggets come into the game hot, winning their past three games with at least four players scoring double-digit points in each of those contests.

Blackhawks Floundering on the Road

The Chicago Blackhawks have struggled on the road this season with just one win away from the United Center. The Blackhawks, who have not won away from Chicago since October 9, will visit the St. Louis Blues Saturday night.

The Blackhawks will be getting reinforcements Saturday as both Duncan Keith and Michal Rosival have been activated from injured reserve and will be in the lineup. These two teams have already met once this season with the Blackhawks giving up a 5-2 lead to lose 6-5 in overtime.

The Blues are coming off a four-game road trip that saw them go 3-1-0 while outscoring opponents 15-11 with two shutouts. The Blues top line of David Backes, Alex Steen and Vladimir Tarasenko combined for six points with a +7 rating in the last game against the ‘Hawks.

Wild vs Stars: NHL Odds and Pick

Two of the top three teams in the Western Conference collide Saturday night when the Minnesota Wild visit the Dallas Stars. The lonestar state has not been kind to the Wild, with Minny going just 3-20 in their past 23 games in Dallas.

Though the Wild have been impressive this season, they have faltered on the road with a 3-2-2 record away from Minnesota. The Wild picked up a 3-2 overtime win against the Carolina Hurricanes Thursday to start a four-game road trip.

The Stars are arguably the hottest team in the NHL, winning seven of their last nine with the Toronto Maple Leafs being their only losses (yeah, we can’t figure that out either). Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn have fuelled the Stars offense, with Seguin tied for the lead-league in points and Benn second in goals.

Michigan Has Long Dominated Indiana

The Michigan Wolverines will look to keep even in the Big Ten standings when they visit the Indiana Hoosiers Saturday, a team they have beaten 14 consecutive times.

Michigan has the top scoring defense in the nation as the Wolverines have allowed a measly 11.9 points per game and have held opponents to single-digit scoring on five separate occasions this season. Quarterback Jake Rudock excelled in Michigan’s win over Rutgers last week as the senior completed 72 percent of his passes and threw for two touchdowns.

Hopes were high for Indiana after starting the season 4-0, but the team has since dropped five-straight games and are just trying to stay afloat. All five of Indiana’s losses this season have come within the Big Ten.

Orange to Get Crushed by Clemson?

Clemson Football

The No.1 ranked Clemson Tigers have history on their side when they visit the Syracuse Orange Saturday, as the road team is a perfect 3-0 ATS in the past three meetings between the two teams.

With a 23-13 win over FSU last week, Clemson clinched the ACC Atlantic division and a berth in the ACC title game. The Tigers have not lost a game in almost a calendar year, with the team’s last loss coming on November 15, 2014.

After starting the season 3-0, Syracuse has now lost six straight and have not looked good doing so. Syracuse has allowed 38.7 points per game during their losing streak, though three of those teams have been ranked when facing the Orange.

Oklahoma State vs Iowa State Odds

Oklahoma State Cowboys Football

The favorites have long been dominating when the Oklahoma State Cowboys and Iowa State Cyclones play with the faves going 9-1 SU and ATS in their past 10 meetings. Oklahoma State will look to extend their undefeated record when they visit Iowa State Saturday.

The passing game for Oklahoma State has been on-fire this season with the Cowboys ranking eighth in the nation in passing yards per game and sixth in points per game. The Cowboys are coming off a huge win over TCU in which they intercepted Heisman candidate Trevone Boykin four times.

Outside of a 24-0 win over the Texas Longhorns, the Iowa Stat defense has been as stable as Jell-O in house construction. The Cyclones have allowed an average of 641.5 yards and 52 points in their past four losses.

Ohio State Loves Visiting Illinois

Ohio State Football

The always dominant Ohio State Buckeyes will happily travel to Champaign, IL to take on the perpetually mediocre Illinois Fighting Illini Saturday. Ohio State has enjoyed their trips to Champaign as they have won their past nine games when visiting Illinois.

Ohio State defeated Minnesota last week to remain undefeated, but the switch at quarterback was anything but smooth. Cardale Jones got the start in place of J.T. Barrett, who was suspended for the game, but struggled to move the ball as he completed just 12 of his 22 passes for 187 yards.

Illinois halted their three-game skid last week with a win over Purdue. The Illinois offense scored 48 points in the victory, which was more points than they scored in the three previous games combined.

Michigan State Struggling to Cover

Michigan State Football

The Michigan State Spartans have been failing to cover this season, with the team going just 2-7 ATS in their past nine games. Michigan State will look to reverse that trend when they host the Maryland Terrapins Saturday.

The Spartans are coming off a controversial loss to Nebraska last week on a last minute touchdown that saw Michigan State lose 39-38. With the loss Michigan State now sits behind Ohio State in the Big Ten East standings, which could set up a massive matchup next week between the two teams.

Maryland is on a six-game losing streak, which has seen them look largely overmatched at times. The Terrapins have averaged a paltry 17.2 points during that skid.

Nover: Favored Seahawks in Must-Win

It's only mid-November, but it's not an exaggeration to say Seattle faces a make-or-break situation when hosting Arizona Sunday night.

If the 4-4 Seahawks lose to the 6-2 Cardinals, they fall three games behind in the NFC West division with seven games to go.

Things could really unravel for the Seahawks with a loss considering some of the personalities on the team and losing a division showdown in their beloved CenturyLink Field where they are 28-3 the past four seasons, 20-10-1 against the spread according to the OddsShark NFL Database.
