Boise State tops college football line moves

With so many games on the board, and with such major talent discrepancies between teams, it isn’t uncommon to see large spreads with severe line movements every week in college football.

It is even less uncommon early in the year, when bookmakers and bettors are still learning about how each team looks this season. Especially true when it involves a marquee team like Boise State, but they have seen a 4.5-point adjustment this week.

Falcons visit Bucs in Week 3 battle

Tampa Bay was an upset winner in Minnesota in Week 2 but they come home to face the Falcons, knowing they have been money-losers at home against the spread.

In their past 20 home games, the Bucs are a woeful 4-16 ATS. They face an emotional Atlanta team that got past Philadelphia on Sunday night in Michael Vick's return. The spread opened as a PK at most sportsbooks and Tampa is 6-2 ATS in the past 8 vs the Falcons.
The Bucs have been tough as underdogs lately, going 6-1 ATS past 7 games in that role.

Road Loser Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals Preview

Arizona was lucky in Week 1 and looked bad in Week 2. Fortunately for Cardinals bettors, they face a team that was mediocre in Week 1 and dreadful in Week 2.

As a result, Arizona opened as 3.5-point road favorites in this NFC West battle in Week 3 against a team that has lost 8 straight on the road. Don't be fooled into thinking they covered a lot of spreads either, because the Seahawks are 1-7 ATS in those games.

The Seahawks are also a money-sucking 2-8 ATS past 10 games as an underdog.

Raiders vs Jets Odds

The Jets are 2-0 thanks to an emphatic win over the Jaguars in Week 2 while the Raiders are shaking their heads after a Week 2 collapse in Buffalo.

The Raiders led big, but Ryan Fitzpatrick led the Bills' rally.

It's the home opener for Oakland and they are 3.5-point underdogs against the hungry Jets. But the OVER has been the best play in Oakland home games lately, as the home side has enjoyed a 6-1 run favoring over bettors.

Panthers Fighting Irish Odds Preview

The Pittsburgh Panthers will try to break out of their recent ATS slump against Notre Dame at home this Saturday.

Notre Dame is 2-1 straight up but 3-0 ATS in their last three contests against the Panthers in Pittsburgh, continuing that run of against-the-spread pain for Penn State bettors.

Pittsburgh is currently a 6.5-point favorite, which might be enough to buck the trend since five of the last six games between these two teams have been decided by six points or less.

Georgia Tech vs North Carolina Preview

Georgia Tech's triple option offense has generated more offensive yards per game than any team in college football and odds are they can win as home favorites at Bobby Dodd Stadium Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets are averaging 675 YPD but the visiting North Carolina Tar Heels in betting action believe they can pull the upset as 7-point dogs.
This season the Yellow Jackets are 3-0 overall and 3-0 ATS against the number, while the Tar Heels are 3-0 and 2-1 ATS. In the past 11 meetings of these ACC rivals, the Yellow Jackets are 11-2 SU.
