Auburn Dominant vs Ole Miss in Past Six

The annual meeting between Ole Miss and Auburn has been leaning one way as of late, with the Tigers going 5-1 SU and ATS in the past six games between the two teams. Those six games have seen Auburn average 35 points while Ole Miss tallied 24.5. The two teams will renew acquaintances this Saturday.

Ole Miss got a much-needed win over Texas A&M last week, which means the Rebels hold their own destiny in their hands. Ole Miss holds a tiebreak over Alabama, but does not play LSU until November 21. In their wins this season, Ole Miss has held their opponents to 14.8 points per game, but in their losses they have allowed 37.5.

Auburn is now 1-3 in league play and just 4-3 on the season as a whole. The Tigers are a mess defensively as they continue to rebuild under coordinator Will Muschamp, with Auburn allowing an SEC West-worst 431 yards per game.

Lions-Chiefs a Matchup of Bad Bets

Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce

A pair of teams that have been dropping games on the field and hurting the pockets of their bettors square off Sunday when the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs travel to England for a matchup at Wembley Stadium Sunday. Detroit (1-6 SU) has only covered the spread once so far this year, while Kansas City (2-5 SU) is just 2-5 ATS.

Both teams have been lackluster on offense and defense as the Lions rank 20th in total offense and 27th in defense, while K.C. is 21st in offense and 20th in defense.  The 2015 seasonhas marked a significant drop off for both teams that had winning records last year, but a win on Sunday could go a long way to lift their spirits in the middle of the year

SC Winless on the Road This Season

This is not a year to remember for the Gamecocks, but the biggest difficulties have come on the road where South Carolina is 0-3 SU and ATS. South Carolina has been outscored 121-54 on the road, an average scoring margin of minus-22.3. The Gamecocks will look to record their first win or cover on the road this season when they visit the Texas A&M Aggies Saturday.

The post-Steve Spurrier era got off on the right track with a 19-10 win over Vanderbilt two weeks ago. Now interim coach Shawn Elliott has had a bye week to truly prepare his team and get ready to try and salvage this season for the Gamecocks. The lone standout offensively for South Carolina is receiver Pharaoh Cooper, who has accounted for five of the team’s 13 offensive touchdowns.

Two straight losses have tempered some expectations for Texas A&M. Sure those losses were against powerhouses in Alabama and Ole Miss, but the Aggies looked completely overwhelmed in both cases.  A&M combined for 26 points in those two games, with an embarrassing three points last week, with quarterback Kyle Allen throwing four picks and no touchdowns.

eSports: Summoner’s Cup Final Preview

The quest for this year's Summoner’s Cup started nearly one month ago with 16 and now only SK Telecom T1 and the KOO Tigers remain. SK has been dominant this entire tournament, averaging around 30 minute match lengths and not dropping a single game yet. KOO has been a harder team to figure out with several inconsistencies plaguing them.

NBA Odds: LeBron & the Cavs vs MIA

James Wade Heat Cavaliers

King James will welcome his old friends the Miami Heat to Quicken Loans Arena for Friday night NBA action in Cleveland. The Heat have dominated the Cavs over the past few seasons, going 12-2 SU in their past 14 contests, but the teams split the four games they played against each other last season.

The Cavs will be making their home debut this season after going 1-1 in Chicago and Memphis, while Miami will look to build upon Wednesday’s home win over the Hornets where they went an impressive 12 of 20 from the three point line.

Either against LeBron or as his teammate, Dwayne Wade has a history of giving Cleveland headaches. In 36 career games vs the Cavs, he’s averaged 25.9 points, 5.8 assists, and 5.4 rebounds.

Warriors Have Owned Rockets SU & ATS

Two of the top powers in the Western Conference are set to collide for the first time this season as Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors travel to the Lone Star State for a matchup with James Harden and the Houston Rockets. The Dubs won all four regular season meetings against the Rockets last year and knocked off Houston in the second round of the playoffs, claiming the series in five games en route to becoming NBA champions for the first time since 1975. Golden State covered the spread in each of the aforementioned matchups.

Shark Bites
  • The UNDER is 4-1 in the last five meetings between the clubs.
  • The Rockets are 7-0 ATS in their last seven games as home underdogs.
  • The Warriors are 21-5-1 ATS in their last 27 games playing on 2 days rest.

Houston big man Dwight Howard will be making his debut after sitting out the season opener due to a suspension stemming back to his abundance of flagrant fouls in the 2014/15 postseason. Howard's presence will be a welcome sight for the Rockets, who were dominated by the lowly Denver Nuggets 105-85 in an embarrassing affair.

Golden State starting center Andrew Bogut will not travel with the team thanks to a concussion he suffered in the Warriors' 111-95 win over the Pelicans Tuesday evening.

Wins Coming Easily for Wild on Home Ice

Minnesota Wild Zach Parise

Puck bettors looking to gain an edge when it comes to measuring home ice advantage will want to pay attention to Friday's Chicago Blackhawks-Minnesota Wild clash at the Xcel Energy Center. The Wild are a spotless 4-0-0 in front of their home fans this season, while the Hawks are a paltry 1-3-0 away from Illinois so far.

Shark Bites
  • Blackhawks are 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.
  • The UNDER is 5-0 in the Blackhawks' last 5 road games.
  • The Wild are 4-0 in their last 4 home games.

Blackhawks backup goaltender Scott Darling is expected to get the nod in between the pipes. The 26-year-old is 1-1-0 with a 2.51 goals-against average and .906 save percentage in two appearances this year. Countering for Minny is Devan Dubnyk (6-2-0, 2.37, .902).

Scoring 5-on-5 has not been an easy task for the Blackhawks as of late. Chicago hasn't found the back of the net at even strength since Artem Anisimov found twine in a 3-2 victory over the Florida Panthers on Oct. 22.

World Series Game 3 Odds: NYM vs KC

Mets’ fans and bettors will be hoping there’s no place like home for their team as the Mets try to dig themselves out of a 0-2 series hole. The Mets and Royals will play the first of three in the Big Apple tonight with Noah Syndergaard and Yordano ‘Ace’ Ventura facing off in a battle of young fireballers.

Their backs are against the wall, but 11 teams have come back to win the World Series after being down 0-2, including the 1986 Mets. The Mets have won three of their four playoff games at home so far this postseason, scoring a total of 22 runs while allowing 13. Syndergaard’s lack of playoff experience hasn’t hindered him during the playoffs, as ‘Thor’ currently has a 2.77 ERA and 20 strikeouts over 13 innings pitched.

The Royals enter the game going 7-3 over their last 10 on the road. Ventura’s postseason ERA sits at 5.09 and in his lone playoff road start vs the Astros he allowed two home runs in five innings pitched while striking out eight.

No player on the Royals has ever faced Syndergaard, while Yoenis Cespedes is the only Mets player which experience vs Ventura, registering one hit in seven at bats.

Nover: Kelly is Hurting Eagles SB Odds

The Philadelphia Eagles are one of four teams on a bye this week. Yet this might be the most important week of the Eagles' season.

It all depends on Chip Kelly. He's been an innovator since coming to Philadelphia three seasons ago from Oregon with his high tempo, fast-break offense. Kelly's style and system have helped the Eagles go 10-6 during each of the last two regular seasons.
