Georgia Betting Odds Preview

The Bulldogs thought they had a shot at an SEC championship last season, and maybe even a BCS title game berth, but the injury bug took a big bite and when all was said and done Georgia wasn't even ranked in the final college football rankings. The 'Dawgs were also one of the worst teams in the country to bet on last year, covering just three spreads.

Illinois Betting Odds Preview

The Illini won two games in their first season under head coach Tim Beckman two years ago, then four games last year. Can they continue that progression and return to a bowl this season? Or will the Illinois faithful start pining for the days of Ron Zook, whose 7-6 seasons at least included bowls?

Nobody seems to be able to get this program pointed in the right direction. The last time the Illini finished above .500 in Big Ten play was back in 2007. This year there are several winnable games on the slate, but Illinois will have to win 'em all, plus a couple, to return to a bowl.

Indiana Betting Odds Preview

The Hoosiers haven't gone to a bowl since 2007, and haven't won a bowl since 1991. But they've gradually made some progress in their three seasons under head coach Kevin Wilson, mostly on offense, which has increased its production from 21 points and 360 yards per game in 2011 to 38 points and 509 yards per game last year.

Iowa State Betting Odds Preview

Is this program ever going to break through and contend for something more than a minor bowl bid? And last year the Cyclones couldn't even pull that off. Their 3-9 campaign was their worst in five seasons under head coach Paul Rhoads, and they weren't even competitive at times.

Arizona State Betting Odds Preview

It only took two years for head coach Todd Graham to get the Sun Devils to the Pac-12 championship game. They choked on it, getting blown out at home by Stanford, but last season still saw the most  excitement in Tempe since the days of Jake the Snake.

Arizona Betting Odds Preview

The Wildcats have gone 8-5 in each of their first two seasons for head coach Rich Rodriguez, and 4-5 in Pac-12 play both years. An improvement over the end of the Mike Stoops era, yes, but nothing too much to crow about. And Arizona has still never played in the Rose Bowl.

Colorado Betting Odds Preview

The Buffaloes won four games last year, their first season under new head coach Mike MacIntyre, three more than in their 1-11 campaign of 2012. However, the number of victories against Big 5 conference schools remained the same – one.

Coach MacIntyre got results at San Jose State, but it took about a season and a half for things to click. This year Colorado, with a season's worth of learning curve under its belt, gets several winnable games early, before the big boys of the Pac-12 pop up in October and November. The Buffs will be better, but can they get to six wins?
