NHL Odds: Flyers, Bolts

NHL betting action resumes with 26 teams playing on Tuesday night. Most of the betting will be on the top two Eastern teams as the Philadelphia Flyers and the Tampa Bay Lightning hook up in the Sunshine State.

Tampa Bay (-125 at Sportsbook.ag) is riding a five-game win streak, and sits four points ahead of Washington in leading the Southeast Division. With a pair of road wins against the Flyers and a 16-4-2 record at home, the Lightning could be poised for a sixth straight victory.

There's been a change at the top of the NBA Power Rankings, as the Los Angeles Lakers' reign lasted only one week before they gave way to the Miami Heat.

Jay Cutler Super Bowl Questions

Poor Jay Cutler can’t escape the taunts and jabs two weeks after his NFC title game injury.

Players and commentators continue to chirp about his toughness. The paparazzi follow him to the restaurant and comment on how much of a limp he has (and, fairly or unfairly, how much of a wimp he is).

It’s Super Bowl week, where the focus should be on Big Ben and Aaron Rodgers but the Bears QB still manages to make headlines. And now it seems his injury infamy has even helped inject him into a Super Bowl contest.

LeBron adds misery to Cavalier streak

Miami will look to add to Cleveland’s 20-game losing skid and LeBron will be motivated to help rout his former team and cover a huge NBA point spread.

Miami will face the 8-39 Cavaliers, who own a 16-29-2 ATS mark on the season. In totals betting, the Heat are 24-22-1 favoring the UNDER so far this season while the Cavaliers are 25-22 favoring the OVER.

Strikeforce Betting Results Review

Strikeforce thought Welterweight champion Nick Diaz would have a tough time with top contender Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos, but it was just another day at the office for Diaz and his stiff jab.

The Bovada MMA betting lines had the Strikeforce Welterweight champion as a heavy -340 favorite against Santos (18-14), but it did not look like he was the favorite for most of the first round. Diaz (24-7-1) took numerous hard leg kicks from Cyborg and looked to be suffering the effects by the end of the first round.
