Tonight the best team is the league will play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers. No, I’m not talking about the Warriors, I’m talking about the Orlando Magic, who are an NBA best 16-6 ATS. Maybe that was a little misleading off the top, but come on, this is a betting preview.
Despite a middle of the pack 12-10 SU record, the Magic are an absolutely sizzling bet right row, winning eight straight games ATS. Cleveland, meanwhile has been producing opposite results, losing five straight games ATS. The Cavs have also been a poor bet on the road, going just 1-7 ATS in their last eight road games.
Cleveland, however, has absolutely owned the Magic in recent years. They’ve won 12 games in a row ATS and 11 in a row SU. In their last 10 games against each other, Cleveland has averaged 14 points more per game.
The total opened at 197.5, which is a mark these teams surpassed in their last matchup in November—a 117-103 Cavs win. Neither team is trending hard in either direction in terms of OVER/UNDER record, but the total has gone over in five of the last six games between these teams in Orlando.
