College basketball betting is ripe for the picking on Saturday, and it all gets underway with a matinee between seventh-ranked Villanova (16-2 SU, 9-5 ATS) and third-ranked Syracuse, who will be home favorites in this contest.

Habs, Sens on NHL lines

Montreal and Ottawa are normally familiar with one another, but a rash of injuries to both clubs has some new faces in the lineup for Friday night’s game.

Oddsmakers have the Canadiens as road favorites against the Senators, with the OVER/UNDER total set at 5.5.

Jazz vs. Celtics NBA Betting

A busy Friday night of NBA betting includes some intriguing cross-conference matchups. One of those sends the Utah Jazz to battle the Boston Celtics, who will be favored at home in the NBA odds at the sportsbooks.

The Boston Celtics are 20-3 at home this season and lead the NBA in scoring defense. They also carry a four-game winning streak into Friday’s game. However, the Celtics’ NBA odds often get overvalued and they struggle to cover the spread. They’re 19-20-2 ATS on the year and have beaten just two of their past nine spreads.

NASCAR Handicapping

The huge popularity of NASCAR has been slow to translate into NASCAR handicapping and betting, but with plenty of new racing odds, fans are starting to put their money where their mouths are.

Betting on NASCAR races, or any auto race for that matter, is very easy. Oddsmakers such as those at Sportsbook.ag will lay odds to who will win a race and you simply bet on the driver you will think will win.

Mavs, Lakers on NBA lines

Can the Dallas Mavericks stop their skid at six games? The task won’t be easy on Wednesday when they face the Los Angeles Lakers in a marquee NBA betting matchup.

St. John's vs. Louisville Odds

St. John’s will head to Louisville as a road underdog against the Cardinals in one of many matchups in college basketball betting for Wednesday night.

St. John’s (+7.5 at Bovada) dominated the Cardinals in a 74-55 victory last season, so the Red Storm (11-5 SU, 7-8 ATS) could provide the best underdog bet of the night.

Hawks vs Heat NBA Game Preview

NBA Power Rankings - Spurs Lead Way

The Lakers boast the most powerful base number in this week's NBA Power Rankings, but strength of schedule drops them to third overall and vaults the Spurs into top spot.

The Top 6 NBA teams in this week's poll are among the league's elite with no other team with much of an NBA title shot in 2011.
San Antonio rates No. 1, with the Heat right behind them. The Lakers are third and the Bulls push past Orlando into fourth spot.
