Richards will now be tasked with putting some life into New York's offense, and maximizing the production of talented but underperforming winger Marian Gaborik.


Angels vs. Dodgers on MLB odds

Sunday Night Baseball this week has the Dodgers hitting the MLB betting board against the SoCal rival Angels.

Jays host Phillies in MLB betting

Ricky Romero will look to pay off for supporters on Friday when he takes to the mound for the Blue Jays against the Phillies in a Canada Day matchup.

Romero (7-7, 2.74 ERA) will be up against Philadelphia's Kyle Kendrick (4-4, 3.23 ERA) in the opener of this interleague series on Friday afternoon. Toronto is 5-5 in Romero's last 10 starts.

Jake Westbrook (6-4, 5.32) starts for the Cardinals tonight, while Brian Matusz (1-3, 6.85) is on tap for Baltimore. Westbrook was ripped for four runs on 10 hits over 4 1-3 innings against Toronto in his last start. Matusz surrendered six runs on nine hits in 4 2-3 innings against Cincinnati last time out.
