Monday Night Football Betting

Riding a four-game skid both SU and ATS, do the Bengals have a chance of snapping that streak Monday when they host division-rival Pittsburgh as a 5-point underdog?

The Bengals' disappointing season continued last week as they dropped to 2-5 after losing to Miami 22-14 as a 1-point home underdog. The Bengals led 14-6 in the second quarter, but their offense stalled the rest of the way and didn't put another point on the board.

NCAA Football Week 10 Recap

The NCAA betting matchup of the week between TCU and Utah was a big statement game – but did it tell us more about TCU or about Utah?

The Horned Frogs were already expected to give Utah all it could handle on the road, favored by five points at most sportsbooks, but did anyone see the 47-7 romp coming?

As we told you last week, BCS crunch time creates some routs and huge covers for contenders - you just need to separate them from the pretenders who will wilt under the pressure and cost you money.

NFL Week 9 Betting Odds

San Diego may be 0-4 both SU and ATS on the road, and their receivers may be spending more time with the doctors and trainers than on the field, but they're still a 3-point favorite this weekend versus Houston.

The Chargers do possess the No. 1 offense in the NFL, but that has still only led them to a 3-5 record SU and ATS. And their offense may have trouble living up to its ranking this weekend with Philip Rivers' top targets, Antonio Gates and Malcom Floyd, both hurting.

NFL Week 9 Prop Bets

Michael Vick returns to quarterback the Eagles once again this week, giving props bettors another chance to cash in on the elusive QB's arm.

Vick hasn't suited up for the Eagles since he was sandwich-tackled by the Redskins in Week 4. Since then Kevin Kolb has filled in and the Eagles' offense has continued to chug along quite well, ranking fifth overall. Throwing Vick back into the mix this weekend, as well as concussed wideout DeSean Jackson, should  keep things humming.

NBA Weekend Wagering Preview

Friday night’s matchup between the Miami Heat and the New Orleans Hornets pits one of the favorites to win the NBA Championship this year (Miami) against one of the three remaining undefeated teams in the NBA (New Orleans).

Miami is 4-1 SU and ATS this season, and has won four straight (all by double-digits) since losing their season opener at Boston. New Orleans is 4-0 SU and ATS, including road wins over San Antonio and Houston. New Orleans has had a great season to this point, but Miami has looked unbelievable, and may be the play here as a road favorite.

NFL Week 9 Weather Impact

It’s going to be a long cold rainy day for the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday when they host the New York Giants. With Matt Hasselbeck out and Charlie Whitehurst in for Seattle, the Giants look like they’re a lock to cover the 7-point spread on the road.

NHL Weekend Betting Odds

The Bruins are on a roll, and at +125 against a Washington team they seem to own it might be the best upset bet of the night on Friday with the Caps favorites at -145.

Boston swept Washington in a home-and-home series earlier this year with Tim Thomas making 31 and 38 saves, respectively. Even with the Washington firepower, it might be worth a look at the UNDER.

NCAA Football Betting Week 10

The Crimson Tide have a chip on their collective shoulder after South Carolina ruined their perfect season and oddsmakers expect them to take it out on LSU, favoring Alabama by 6.5 points on the road this weekend.

Considering how bad LSU’s offense is, that number doesn’t seem all that crazy. The Tigers rank outside the national top 100 in offensive yards per game, which is insane considering their record. The problem is quarterbacking; Jordan Jefferson has been terrible, throwing two touchdown passes versus eight interceptions.

Randy Moss Titans Props

While his relevance on the field and in fantasy football leagues is suffering, Randy Moss remains perfectly relevant in betting circles.

Online sportsbook Bovada posted a trio of Randy Moss props (one for each team he has played for in the past month) predicting his effectiveness with his new team, the Tennessee Titans.

Tennessee enjoys a bye week, but their hot young receiver Kenny Britt has already been ruled out of the Week 10 game against Miami. That opens the door for Moss to have ann immediate impact.

NFL Week 9 Line Moves

After having a couple of days to mull over and bet the 13-game NFL board this week, bettors have moved the lines on three games by a full point or more. Two of these three big movements are on favorites, which is no surprise after their 9-4 ATS performance last week.
