NFL Odds: Week 14 Betting

Coming off an upset loss to Oakland on NFL odds, the Chargers face a must-win game this weekend when they host the division-rival Chiefs.

The Chargers have been their own worst enemy this season, and they may have killed their playoff chances last week with a 28-13 loss to the Raiders as a 13-point favorite. [ Chiefs Chargers matchup stats ]

Bowl underdogs bite hard

Oklahoma and Boise State are the biggest college football bowl game favorites on the 2010 season (-17), but bettors know better than to blindly show their financial faith in the Sooners and Broncos.

Big dogs have packed a big bite in recent years, with even huge favorites losing outright or struggling to win. The result has been a steady stream of underdog successes and in some situations, betting double-digit bowl underdogs has produced an 18-4-1 ATS run over 23 games!

Duke Odds: Kyrie Irving Injury

The Duke Blue Devils received some devastating news on Wednesday; freshman point guard Kyrie Irving will be out for an extended period of time (and possibly the entire season) with a toe injury.

In losing one of their most important weapons, Duke becomes a much less clear favorite in odds to win the NCAAB Championship. Will March madness futures odds change to reflect this shift in power?

UFC 124 Betting at Bodog

We will see if Josh Koscheck’s predictions about his own fights are better than his hockey forecasts.

When the UFC visited Montreal’s Bell Centre back in early May for UFC 113, Koscheck took Paul Daley down to the ground and controlled him for most of three straight rounds, winning a straight 30-27 unanimous decision. The victory was by far the biggest of Koscheck’s career and it earned him a welterweight title bout against Georges St. Pierre.

NBA Odds - Hornets Thunder

Despite a win over New Orleans earlier this season, the books have listed Oklahoma City as a 3-point road underdog in their NBA betting matchup for Friday night.

Chris Paul has never lost at home against the Thunder - winning eight straight overall. New Orleans (14-7 SU, 11-9-1 ATS) has dropped four of its previous six games, but is a sizzling 9-2 at home thus far.

Wings vs. Habs NHL Betting

Bettors can enjoy an Original Six NHL betting matchup Friday night when the Montreal Canadiens travel to Hockeytown to battle the Detroit Red Wings.

Shops like Bovada has Detroit as a -147 favorite and the Habs as a +136 underdog, with the over/under set at 5.5.

UFC Odds: Struve vs. McCorkle

Heavyweight giant Stefan Struve (23-4-0) has been getting all the motivation he needs for his upcoming UFC 124 fight against undefeated Sean McCorkle (10-0-0). Despite MMA betting lines listing McCorkle as an underdog, he’s been running his mouth and posting insulting comments about Struve on his Twitter account.

McCorkle (+140 at 5Dimes) has no shortage of confidence when talking about his upcoming UFC 124 fight. His trash talk has been more like a one-liner stand-up comedy routine than fight hype;

Colts vs. Titans Odds Preview

Sportsbooks won’t give up on the Indianapolis Colts just yet in their NFL odds and bettors can't seem to give up on them either, with almost 70% of the consensus voting here backing them.

Even though the Colts have lost three of four, even though they’re hanging by a thread in the AFC playoff hunt, even though Peyton Manning is enduring perhaps the worst slump of his career, books like Sports Interaction have Indy listed as a 4-point road favorite.

Week 14 NFL Picks from SIA

Normally, the Colts at -3.5 on the road against a struggling team with no QB would be a foolish line and money in the bank for Indy backers.

But while many are still betting on Peyton Manning to get it together, it's far from a sure thing when the Colts visit Tennessee tonight in the Thursday Night NFL odds battle.

Sports Interaction betting analyst Frank Doyle makes his picks for Week 14 of the NFL.

NCAAB Odds: SEC vs. Big East

The SEC/Big East Invitational has been an annual college basketball betting event since the 2007 season, featuring two doubleheaders between SEC and Big East opponents.

The first leg of this year’s doubleheader will be played at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday. The matchups on NCAAB odds list will be the SEC’s Arkansas Razorbacks against the Big East’s Seton Hall Pirates, and the SEC’s Kentucky Wildcats against the Big East’s Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
