Will Warriors 12-0 Start Equal Finals Win?

Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors joined some elite company when they beat the Toronto Raptors to bring their record to 12-0. Golden State is the first team in over a decade to start perfect after 12 games. The last team to accomplish the feat was the 2002-03 Mavericks, who actually started 14-0. The only other teams to start 12-0 since the 1993-94 season were the 1996-97 Bulls and the 1993-94 Rockets.

Can the Reds get points on the road facing first place Man City?

OVER Hot Between Blackhawks, Oilers

Edmonton Oilers Taylor Hall

There are a lot of reasons to like the OVER in Wednesday’s game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Edmonton Oilers. In the Blackhawks past eight games the OVER is 6-2 and the Oilers have topped the closing total in seven of their past nine.

The Blackhawks have faltered on the road this season with a 2-5-0 record away from the United Center while losing five of their past six travelling. Patrick Kane continues to be the best offensive player in the NHL, as he leads the league in points, goals and plus/minus rating.

If the Oilers want to climb out of obscurity, they will need to beef up their defense as they are allowing 3.22 goals per game a mark that has them 28th in the league. Edmonton has only one regulation win in November so far.

Gonzaga vs N. Arizona Odds and Pick

After a snafu caused Gonzaga’s season opener to be cancelled halfway through, the Bulldogs will start their season in earnest Wednesday when they host the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks. Gonzaga will need to be careful of Northern Arizona, as the Lumberjacks are 12-4 ATS in their past 16 games.

Gonzaga had their season opener against Pitt called off when wet floors caused unsafe playing conditions in Okinawa, Japan. Though it is hard to take that game too seriously, Gonzaga struggled with parameter play and their bigs had a difficult time getting going in the paint against the huge Pitt big men.

Northern Arizona has looked like a team that lost three starts in the offseason, with the team going 0-2 so far with an average scoring margin of minus-16 points per game.

NCAA Hoops: North Carolina vs Wofford

Kennedy Meeks North Carolina

The #1 ranked team in college hoops, the North Carolina Tar Heels, hit the court tonight at the Dean Smith Center, hosting the 0-1 SU and ATS Wofford Terriers. As expected, the Tar Heels have started the season strong, going 2-0 SU and ATS, scoring over 90 points in both games.

High scoring affairs have become the norm for the Tar Heels, as dating back to last season the total has gone OVER in eight of their last eleven at home and six of their last seven overall. Wofford also has a recent history of high scoring games, with the total going OVER in eight of their last 10 games, and four of their last five on the road.

North Carolina hasn’t missed a beat without ACC preseason co-player of the year Marcus Paige, who’s recovering from a broken bone in his hand. His backcourt production has been replaced by Nate Britt and Joel Berry III who’ve combined for excellent three point shooting and playmaking ability.

Mavericks Love Playing in Boston

Dallas Mavericks Dirk Nowitzki

The Boston Celtics are proving they can hang with the big boys in the NBA this season and will have another opportunity to knock off a perennial contender Wednesday when they welcome the Dallas Mavericks to TD Garden. Boston (6-4 SU) has won three-straight games by topping Atlanta, Oklahoma City and Houston by a combined 44 points and is excelling in Brad Stevens’ system.

Shark Bites
  • The Celtics are 4-13 ATS in their last 17 games at home in November.
  • The Mavericks are 5-1 SU and ATS in their last six games after an ATS loss.
  • The visiting team is 11-2 ATS in its last 13 games in this matchup.

The Mavericks (7-4 SU, 6-5 ATS) have proved the doubters wrong so far in a year where many thought they would sink in the Western Conference standings. Mavs backers cringe seeing them take the road, however, as Dirk Nowitzki and company are a paltry 6-14 ATS in their last 20 games away from Big D.

Beantown has been kind to the Mavs in recent matchups. Dallas is 5-1 SU and 6-0 ATS in their last six games in Boston.

NBA Betting: Suns vs Bulls Odds

Chicago Bulls Jimmy Butler

The Chicago Bulls are riding a three-game winning streak heading into Wednesday but will put that on the line when they face off against the Phoenix Suns in the desert. Phoenix has struggled when facing Chicago in recent years, dropping seven of their last nine against the Bulls.

Shark Bites
  • The Bulls are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games.
  • The underdog is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings.
  • The UNDER is 6-0 in the Suns' last six vs. the Eastern Conference.

It’s early, but the Suns have held their own so far in the tough Western Conference. Phoenix (6-4 SU) is tied with the L.A. Clippers for fourth place thanks to a solid 5-2 home record. Chicago (7-3 SU) ranks in second in the East but is a mediocre 2-2 away from the United Center.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Bulls point guard Derrick Rose is battling injuries. The former MVP has played in every game this season and is averaging 13.6 points on 37.7 percent shooting while wearing a mask to protect an orbital fracture he suffered in the preseason. Rose injured his ankle in Monday’s victory over the Indiana Pacers and was labeled as "extremely doubtful" to play in hours leading up to the contest.
