Arizona State 0-5 ATS in Their Past Five

The Arizona State Sun Devils have proven to be a money pit so far this season as they have gone 0-4 against the spread this season and 0-5 ATS in their past five. Arizona State will look change that trend when they visit the UCLA Bruins Saturday.

The Sun Devils are coming off an embarrassing 42-14 loss at the hands of USC, a game that saw Arizona State’s defense allow 19.7 yards per catch and five receiving touchdowns.

UCLA is coming off back-to-back wins against opponents ranked inside the top 25, with a dominant 56-30 win over Arizona last week. Freshman quarterback Josh Rosen continues to be inconsistent but did throw two touchdowns and no interceptions against Arizona.

Stanford 6-1 SU, ATS in Their Past Seven

After opening the season with a painful loss against Northwestern, Stanford has gone back to their winning ways and are back to old habits with a 6-1 SU and ATS record in their past seven. The Cardinals will try to continue their dominance when they host the high-powered Arizona Wildcats Saturday.

With quarterback Kevin Hogan nursing an injured ankle, Stanford has been leaning on running back Christian McCaffery. The sophomore rusher has averaged 5.1 yards per carry and 20.1 yards receiving on the season.

The legend of Anu Soloman continues to grow in Arizona as the quarterback has thrown for 11 touchdowns and no interceptions so far this season. However, the sophomore signal caller left last week's loss to UCLA in the second quarter after suffering an injury.

Clemson 11-0 SU in its Last 11 at Home

Clemson have been unbeatable at home going 11-0 SU and 8-3 ATS in their past 11 contests at Memorial Stadium. The Tigers will have a difficult task extending that streak when they host the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Saturday.

Though the offense may sport some big names, it was Clemson’s defense that proved dominant last week as they registered five sacks and allowed a mere 19 rushing yards.

Notre Dame has been ridiculously resilient this season after suffering a staggering amount of injuries. The Irish put up 62 points last week, which was the most points the squad has scored since a 62-0 win over Rutgers in 1996.

Mississippi State 7-3 ATS on the Road

Mississippi State will look to continue to be road warriors against the spread this Saturday when they visit the Texas A&M Aggies. The Bulldogs have gone a mere 6-4 SU in their past 10 games on the road but have covered in 70 percent of those affairs.

This season has seen Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott strive on the road with 507 passing yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions in two games away from Starkville.

In three true home games this season the Aggies have won by an average of 23.7 points.

Ole Miss Riding 5-0 ATS Run vs Florida

Ole Miss and Florida have only met five times in the past 20 years, but the Rebels have gone a perfect 5-0 against the spread. The two teams will clash for the first time since 2008 this Saturday in Gainesville.

The Alabama hangover was real last week when Ole Miss barely beat Vanderbilt. Arguably, Ole Miss did not deserve to walk away with a win as they went a terrible 3-for-13 on third down while losing the turnover battle.

The Gators’ offense is limited, but after a huge comeback win last week the team will be riding a high. Florida was down 13 points with less than five minutes left against Tennessee, only to come back and win the game 28-27.

Blue Jays Winning with Estrada Pitching

Pitcher Marco Estrada will get his last start of the regular season Saturday when the Toronto Blue Jays continue their season ending series against the Tampa Bay Rays. In Estrada’s past 12 starts the right-hander has been quietly dominant with a 2.63 ERA with the Blue Jays going 9-3 in those games.

The Jays have won the past five games against the Rays, which includes four wins within the past 10 games.

The Rays are expecting to start Chris Archer, who has been inconsistent against the Jays this season. In five starts against Toronto this season, Archer has posted a 3-2 record with a 3.31 ERA.

Astros Turn to McHugh to Make Playoffs

The Houston Astros are still trying to claim the American League West crown and will turn to pitcher Collin McHugh to try and get the job done Saturday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. McHugh is 9-2 with a 3.27 ERA in his last 13 starts with the Astros going 9-4 in those games.

Houston enters Saturday just 1.5 games back of the AL West leading Texas Rangers. The ‘Stros are looking strong with a dominant 21- 5 win Friday while the Rangers lost 2-1 to the Angels.

The Diamondbacks are expected to start Jeremy Hellickson Saturday, with the pitcher hoping to redeem himself after his appearance against the Astros earlier this season. Hellickson was chased after 3.1 innings pitched while giving up six earned runs in his lone appearance against Houston this season.

Baylor vs TTU Has the Largest Total Ever

There is no doubt offense will be showcased when Baylor and Texas Tech clash on Saturday and bookmakers know it with the current total of 88.5 being the biggest in college football history. Oklahoma State and Baylor held the previous record with a closing total of 88.0 for their game in December of 2012.

OVER 5-0 When Bama and Georgia Meet

Though their clashes have been few and far between, the OVER has hit in each of the past five meetings between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs. The two teams will renew their acquaintances when they meet in Athens Saturday.

In their past five meetings, dating back to October 5, 2005, the Tide and the Bulldogs have averaged a combined 58.4 points per game. If the current line of Alabama +2.5 holds until kickoff, it will be the first time the Crimson Tide has been an underdog in 72 games.

The matchup will feature two of the best running backs in the country in Alabama’s Derrick Henry and Georgia’s Nick Chubb.

Henry has averaged 6.3 yards per rush this season with eight touchdowns, but did not look like himself last week as he battled tonsillitis. Chubb has been averaging a staggering 8.4 yards per carry with six touchdowns on the season.

UFC 192: Does Bader Offer Any Value?

Rashad Evans makes his long awaited return to the octagon at UFC 192, but will not have an easy road back as he faces off against top contender Ryan Bader. Despite a nearly two year layoff, Evans is currently the favorite according to 5Dimes.

“The betting line is a direct reflection of Evans' layoff, which dates to UFC 167 in November of 2013, but I also think it speaks to Bader's improvements as a fighter, both technically and athletically,” Anik explains.
