UFC 213: Lawler vs Cerrone Betting Odds

I hope you like violence because Robbie Lawler and Donald Cerrone are scheduled to clash at UFC 213 in an all-action bout that has “fight of the year” written all over it. We haven’t seen Lawler since he dropped the welterweight title to Tyron Woodley last July while Cerrone is coming off a tough loss to Jorge Masvidal.

‘Ruthless’ Robbie Lawler has opened as a -145 favorite with ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone coming back at +115. Assuming this line stays steady, this will be the first time Cerrone has entered a fight as an underdog since his title loss to Rafael dos Anjos in December 2015.

Heavyweight

Stipe Miocic claimed the UFC heavyweight championship in quick fashion with his first-round victory over Fabricio Werdum at UFC 198. Miocic became the first heavyweight to defend the strap since UFC 166 in 2013 when he defeated Alistair Overeem in the first round at UFC 203.

UFC 213: Nunes vs Shevchenko Betting Odds

Amanda Nunes rose through a time of uncertainty and unpredictability in the UFC women’s bantamweight division to prove herself the best 135-er in the world. She might be facing the stiffest challenge to her gold when she takes on Valentina Shevchenko in the main event of UFC 213.

Cris Cyborg Career MMA Odds History

Make no mistake about it — Cris Cyborg is the most dominant female fighter in the history of mixed martial arts. Novice fans of the sport will argue that Ronda Rousey is the best female to ever compete in the sport, but a simple glance at their records shows that Rousey has some serious work to do if she wants to catch Cyborg.

Ronaldo is Likely Sticking With Real for the Time Being

After a few contentious days, it appears Cristiano will indeed be sticking around Spain – well, for the time being, at least. Real president Florentino Perez came out in public support of the 32-year-old striker and it seems cooler heads have prevailed.

According to Jorge Mendes, Ronaldo’s agent, CR7 had become increasingly annoyed with Real management and he was pushed over the edge of reason when the allegations of tax fraud dropped last week and no one within the club stepped in to defend No. 7.

Rockies and D-backs offering incredible value in NL Pennant Futures

I needed to double, triple, quadruple and even quintuple check when I saw the odds to win the National League pennant in late June. The Chicago Cubs, who sit just two games above .500 and in second place in the NL Central, are in a three-way tie at the top of the oddsboard with the Nationals and Dodgers at +275. Meanwhile, the NL-leading Colorado Rockies are offering the best value in futures betting I’ve seen all season at +600, while the Arizona Diamondbacks aren’t far off at +800.

UFC Fight Night: Chiesa vs Lee Betting Odds and Preview

An absolutely stellar main event buoys an otherwise mediocre card, as the UFC sets up shop in Oklahoma City for UFC Fight Night 112 this Sunday. The main event features upstart lightweight fighters Michael Chiesa and Kevin Lee facing off to see who is the future of the 155 lbs division.

The rest of the card features a couple of notable names but a lot of focus will be on BJ Penn, as the legendary Hawaiian makes the walk to the Octagon once again to take on Dennis Siver.

Las Vegas — It’s pushing 112 degrees here in Vegas, which is like what, 44 Celsius. But it’s a DRY heat. Yeah, dry like sitting in a FREAKIN’ OVEN! Before my keyboard melts, gotta throw this golf story at you, which sounds almost too INSANE to be true.

F1 Podium: Three Bets for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Nico Hulkenberg Renault Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix

We had a strong outing in the Canadian Grand Prix, hitting all three picks in this column, so let’s keep that momentum going into Baku with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix up next on the Formula 1 calendar.

After hosting the European Grand Prix last season, Formula 1 switched things up to give Azerbaijan and the Baku City Circuit a proper Grand Prix in 2017. In last year’s event it was Nico Rosberg who cruised to the victory, more than 16 seconds ahead of Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel and 25 seconds ahead of Force India’s Sergio Perez.
