Super Contest Week 16 Computer Picks

The Odds Shark prediction computer is 44-19 SU the past four weeks as the machine keeps up its momentum in the second half of the season (as it usually does).

But the ATS hasn’t been great, and the selection process for our best five picks for the WestGate Super Contest hasn’t been great either. We were 3-2 in Week 15 and seek out our first 5-0 ATS sweep here in a week with a ton of big home dogs.

NFL Week 16 Sunday Games News & Notes

All four teams in the AFC North remain alive in the hunt for playoff berths heading into Sunday action for Week 16 of the NFL season, with three of them continuing to battle for first place in the division with just two weeks left on the schedule.

The Cincinnati Bengals, who don't return to the gridiron until Monday night at home against the Denver Broncos, hold a slim edge in the AFC North standings at 9-4-1 SU, with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens both at 9-5 SU, and the Cleveland Browns clinging to their playoff lives at 7-7 SU.

After losing backup quarterback Drew Stanton for the remainder of the regular season to an injury last week, the Arizona Cardinals are down to third-string quarterback Ryan Lindley. Arizona hosts the red-hot Seattle Seahawks this Sunday night.

Seattle is 4-0 SU and ATS over its last four games. The Seahawks are also 6-3 SU and ATS in their last nine games against the Arizona Cardinals and 10-3 SU and 8-5 ATS in their last 13 games as a road favorite. Arizona is 10-3 SU in its last 13 games as a home underdog.

The Seattle Seahawks will look to cover ATS vs their hosts on Sunday, as they are 8-6 ATS versus the spread this season, while the Arizona Cardinals are 10-4 ATS. Seattle is 7-7 against the over under total, while Arizona is 4-9-1 versus the number.

Falcons vs Saints: Week 16 NFL Preview

The New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons are both still in the running for the NFC South division title despite their poor records on the season as the two teams prepare to meet at the Superdome in NFL betting action on Sunday afternoon.

Cowboys host Colts: Week 16 Prediction

The Dallas Cowboys are 6-4 SU and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against opponents from the AFC. The Cowboys will host one of the AFC's playoff-bound teams this week with the Indianapolis Colts coming to town.

The 2014/15 college football bowl season gets underway on Saturday, December 20 in New Orleans and runs through the inaugural College Football Championship Game on Monday, January 12 in Arlington.

Miami Beach Bowl Odds

The BYU Cougars will be making their first appearance in a Florida-based bowl game in 29 years when they take on the Memphis Tigers in the inaugural Miami Beach Bowl.

The Cougars last played in a Florida bowl in 1985, when they lost 10-7 to Ohio State in the Citrus Bowl. The Cougars are 9-11-1 SU in bowl games since then, and 4-0 SU in their last four.
