Elite Eight: Kentucky faces Notre Dame

After trouncing their opponent and easily covering a double-digit spread in the Sweet 16 the still-unbeaten Kentucky Wildcats will look to stay on a roll on Saturday as they take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Elite Eight.

The No. 1 Wildcats topped the No. 5 West Virginia Mountaineers 78-39 in their Sweet 16 matchup on Thursday, easily covering the 13-point spread in the contest. The No. 3 Fighting Irish are coming off an 81-70 win over the No. 7 Wichita State Shockers in the Sweet 16 as 2-point underdogs.

No OVER results lately for Kings vs. Wild

The OVER hasn't paid out for totals bettors at the online sportsbooks in any of the last seven games between the Los Angeles Kings and the Minnesota Wild as those two teams prepare to meet on the ice in NHL odds action on Saturday.

Los Angeles is 2-0 in its two games against Minnesota so far this season, topping the Wild 2-1 as a home favorite on October 19 and 4-0 as a road underdog on November 26. Both of those games were UNDER results, and the OVER/UNDER is 0-5-2 in the last seven games between the Kings and the Wild.

UFC Fight Night: Mendes vs. Lamas Odds

Headlining the UFC Fight Night 63 card on April 4 will be a No.1 Featherweight contender matchup between Chad Mendes and Ricardo Lamas.

Current moneyline action has Mendes handicapped as the -440 favorite at 5Dimes, while Lamas underdog action will have a +350 payday. UFC prop odds offer a couple of options; we like the Mendes wins inside the distance at +140 and fight doesn’t go to a decision at -110.

Baseball Props: Home Run Leader Odds

Jose Abreu is the favorite at the online sportsbooks on the odds to lead baseball in home runs in 2015, while last year's leader Nelson Cruz is farther down on those betting props heading into the season.

MLB Betting: AL and NL MVP Award Odds

Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels won the American League MVP award last season, and the 23-year-old outfielder figures to be the favorite to not only win it again this season at 1/1 odds at the sportsbooks but also for many years to come.

Trout actually hit a career-low .287 in 2014 but had a career-high 36 home runs and 111 RBI to stop Detroit's Miguel Cabrera from winning his third consecutive AL MVP award. Cabrera is at 7/1 at Bovada to win his third AL MVP award this season.
