Usain Bolt 4x100m Men's Relay Odds
Usain Bolt has already run 100m for a gold medal once in London, and he'll be looking to do it again on the weekend as his Jamaican team races in the 4x100m relay as the favorite on the betting odds.
Bolt and the Jamaicans are pegged as the 4/11 favorite at Bovada to win the men's 4x100m heading into the qualification round of the event on Friday; the final is Saturday.
At the most recent World Championships in South Korea in 2011 Bolt, Yohan Blake, Nesta Carter, and Michael Frater carried Jamaica to the gold medal over France and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
The American team of Justin Gatlin, Walter Dix, Darvis Patton, and Trell Kimmons collided with the Great Britain squad in that race, and neither team crossed the finish line. The incident also caused the Trinidad and Tobago team to end up back in sixth place.
For this weekend, though, it's the United States second at 12/5 odds to win the gold medal in the men's 4x100m relay, followed by Trinidad and Tobago at 40/1. Great Britain sits with France at 50/1.
Bolt also guided the Jamaicans to a gold-medal finish in the men's 4x100m relay at the World Championships in Berlin in 2009 and at the Summer Olympics in Beijing in 2008.
In the men's 100m final last Sunday Bolt ran an Olympic-record 9.63 to claim the gold medal, with Blake taking the silver medal, and Gatlin settling for the bronze medal.
