Arsenal has Owned West Ham at Boleyn

Arsenal Premier League

Two London clubs meet with plenty on the line in the Premier League table when West Ham hosts Arsenal Saturday. Arsenal has a small chance at the Premier League title while the Hammers are still battling for a Champions League or Europa League spot.

Shark Bites
  • West Ham's Sam Byram and James Collins will likely miss out due to injury.
  • West Ham is unbeaten in its last 13 Premier League matchs at home.
  • Arsenal has scored at least two goals in each of its previous four Premier League road games.

Online shop Bet365 is presently offering Arsenal at +100 in moneyline markets while West Ham is coming in at +260 and the Draw is +250. OVER 2.5 goals is presently -138 while UNDER 2.5 goals is +108.

If history is any indication, Arsenal has given West Ham a really tough time at the Boleyn Ground in recent meetings. The Gunners have won each of the previous four Premier League meetings at West Ham and have outscored the Hammers 11-3 in the process.

The Gunners are 11 points back of league-leaders Leicester City but have one game in hand. They have 58 points and are third in the table; four points back of bitter-rival Tottenham. They have posted back-to-back wins and have recorded clean sheets in both contests.

West Ham has been one of the better stories in the league this season and enter the weekend sixth in the table with 51 points. They have a legit chance at one of the European spots but come in off a pair of draws in league play.

The Hammers will be boosted by the fact that they defeated Arsenal 2-0 in the reverse fixture back on August 9.
