Belgium vs Wales Figures to be Easy on The Eyes

The Welsh football team is looking pretty loose heading into their quarterfinal match vs the Belgian juggernaut, as shown by a couple members of their squad enjoying some ice cream and casual kick-ups during an impromptu training session on a French beach.

SHARK BITES
  • Wales is unbeaten in their last 3 matches against Belgium.
  • Belgium has allowed only 2 goals at these Euros.
  • Welsh Captain Gareth Bale is currently tied for the lead in total tournament goals with 4.

Wales, the current +480 underdog, really has nothing to lose heading into this quarterfinal. Getting past the round of 16 was a huge accomplishment for the Welsh team that is competing in the Euros for the first time ever. However, if they do manage to get by Belgium, they will play either Poland or Portugal in the semifinal – either would be good matchup in my opinion.

Belgium stumbled out of the blocks at Euro 2016 but have managed to hit their stride at the most important time. After their 2-0 loss to Italy in the group stage, Belgium has won three straight fixtures with a combined score of 7-0.

The Belgians will be -150 favorites on Friday and with how they’ve performed lately, that line is hard to argue. Wales has a chance however, with their quick striking offense, to match Belgium’s speed and skill upfront – be on the lookout for goals in this one.
