Champions League Final Odds
The Champions League final is here and it is no surprise that Bayern Munich are the big favorite since the match will be playing on their home field of Allianz Arena.
Still, Chelsea is coming off a huge upset in the semifinals over Barcelona, the last match in Spain no less, while Bayern was throttled in their last match.

Another reason that Bayern is the favorite is that they have a great attack while the Blues have major concerns on defense. They are dealing with a few suspensions for this match including captain John Terry and the DF duo of David Luiz and Gary Cahill will be ready for this match, but will they be match fit? Big question.

Bayern is also dealing with some suspensions and the big one may be David Alaba, who is a great playmaker up front. Still, Bayern's offense is solid with the guys of Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and Mario Gomez, who combined for 50 goals in the Bundesliga season.
Still, the Chelsea defense was sensational, as was G Petr Cech, in the semifinals win over Barcelona.
One of the keys for the success of Bayern is that they have a great midfield and they usually win the time of possession battle. That will be key for this match. The Bayerm MF duo of Toni Kroos and Bastian Schweinsteiger will look to push the envelope on offense and the Blues have to keep these guys in check.
Kroos and Schweinsteiger played poorly in Bayern's last match of the season where they lost 5-2 to Borussia Dortmund in the DFB Pokal Final.
Kroos is a solid tackler and can play a central defender and he will have to play that role when Chelsea is on the counter attack. That brings up another key point for this HUGE match. Bayern is an attacking team and that leaves them vulnerable for the counter attack.
With the injuries and suspensions making the Chelsea defense an issue the duo of John Obi Mikel and Frank Lampard will likely drop back to help out.
On offense Chelsea will play a couple of flanks and likely a lone striker. Daniel Sturridge and Frank Lampard combined for 22 goals this season and Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba may get the starting nod. The Chelsea offense scored 5 goals in their last 3 matches.
Torres may be the big wild card, especially if this match is close. He has seemed to come alive at the end of the season, as he not only scored in the semis at Barcelona, but he also had a hat trick facing Queens Park Rangers at the end of April. Will Hill
Pick: Yeah, Bayern is at home and Chelsea has an iffy defense, but I think the Blues will come out and play solid defense, behind another solid big-match performance from Cech, and their offense will not be denied. Chelsea will win the Champions League final in an upset.
